just today i looted a lv.10 91 speed engine with only 15k mass
of course engine speed doesnt really matter if you use engineoverload4

i have an RE'd level 4 engine with 4800 mass yp and r all over 60 and a top speed of 85.9

Man...I must be lazy then. I picked up a Mark I engine: 5x.5x.5x Mx spd:74.1 Mass:1248 (that's tier2) and have used it in every ship I've owned. Currently it gives me 744 in my Tie Adv. I hate to use Engine Overload on it because it's getting down in HP. Once it get's down to the 10hp range...I'll retire it and put it either in my house like the other poster was w/ the Prenerf engine, or put it on the yacht as a decoration.
Engine was made by Embunt of Nexxus, Coreilla, Gorath adn was sold to me for.....2000cr.
*sigh* they don't make them like they used to.

Well I fly the misterious 'uber pernerfed' Inferno Engine. Top speed 92.2 pitch/roll/xxx 63.2/63.2/63.2. Cheers.

I have 3 great engines..
Level 9 101 speed, and 2 pre-nerf 92.9 speeds..
I was privateer 4433 until I got sick of the lack of mass and went rebel.. it wasn't until I was 2322 rebel they announced an incoming change in the privateer mass.. *grumble*.. anyways, I got another 92.9 engine from being rebel a bit later on, and then came the nerf.. nice timing! *whew*
the 101 speed is crafted.. I can't use it yet since I'm 4-4-4-4.. I just need to find alot of people to help me with the vet =P *sigh*

Yes, I too use the inferno and it's still in great shape. I was also gifted with another one from a friend who is disenchanted with the game and moving to EQ2.
I have a shipwright who is making 100+ speed engines but the pitch/yaw/roll is still low, in the 50's. the faster engines are great for taking out gunships cause you can do a strafing run on them at half speed, hit the boosters as you pass them, go 1500m out, turn and do another run. this gives your shields time to regen. I took no damage to my armor or systems in this way. 4 runs is all it took.

bah....all i got is a cruddy lvl7 post nerf 79max speed engine.... i just got 3433...and i have been trying to find lvl8 parts whether it is looted or from vendors.... and it is just not in existance..... does anyone know if level 8 parts even exist? fyi , i am rebel pilot...
