Does anyone know if they fixed the public crafting stations to allow you to makes ships. I know that before you could only make like 4 ships standing next to a public station. In order to make the other ships you had to use a private crafting station.

This is an intended feature. Get a droid with crafting unit installed. Personally I hope they change around droids so that these units are interchangeable.

I'm trying to think of some things to help you all out for next week. Here is some thoughts:

7) When buying a chassis- there are two steps. You buy the crafted "blueprints" from a PC shipwright. You then go to the starport and then buy the deed from a NPC chassis dealer. Yes, you are buying the ship twice. A low level (tier 1) ship deed bought from the NPC costs 10k. When you are seeing shipwrights attempting to sell low level ships next week for high prices keep this in mind.

Any other Beta testers feel free to add your tips.

Something to add to this one...

As mentioned, you get a blueprint from a PC Shipwright. You can carry these all over the place and use them wherever.

Then you go to an NPC Chassis Dealer and buy a chassis (converting the blueprints to a deed).

However, wherever you talk to the Chassis Dealer and buy the deed, that's where your ship is now parked.

It doesn't matter if you wait until you're somewhere else before you use the deed and generate the ship. If you talked to the Chassis Dealer in Narmle but want to go to Lok (no Chassis Dealer there), you can't buy the deed in Narmle, travel to Lok, then generate the ship at Nym's and use it out of Lok. You'll have to go ahead and generate the ship in Narmle, outfit the new ship, then travel to Lok.

You can examine a ship deed to see where the ship is parked, or if you already generated a ship, look at its listing from a Starship Terminal. You can also click on the ship icon in your datapad and it will say the hangar location over on the left.

Also, about chassis...Only the 4 chassis given at Novice Shipwright can be built at the public crafting stations. All others require a private crafting station. ALL ship chassis require a Starship Crafting Tool.

Time2Die,

You will understand when there are 150 people all standing around the recruiter. All I'm saying is that its better to pick a different planet than the recruiter. Most people will pick the same planet because they dont want to travel. If you have a great computer and dont get lag on the ground it wont be an issue for you. However, I found the lag on the ground to be like coronet on a busy day.

The plan of going to another planet doesn't make sense to me. Here's why.

We have persons A, B and C. Recruiter planets are 1, 2, and 3. Person A is on planet 1 etc..

Now following the suggestion to go to other planets and assuming everyone does this here is what is going to happen.

A goes to 2, B goes to 3 and C goes to 1. That still leaves 1 person per planet. Multiply that by a few hundred or so and either way there is going to be a ton of ppl near the recruiters regardless if they go to another planet or not.
