I wasn't on last night to see what people have been saying. But i'm here now.
Also, what do you mean 'last month'? I've been playing since day one last year when the game went on launch. I only played for about two months however before i returned in late May this year.
Yeah, i'm sorry I forgot to take screenshots, and yes, the chance of this happening to me was very rare considering I had no intention to even attempt to unlock my slot. If it makes you guys feel better i'll say that I don't plan on playing too much with the game in its current state =P

haha , congrats! I actually unlocked on number 8 (Creature handler) about 6 days after pub 9.. so I'm waiting like a ton of people! I will be disappointed if i don't get my jedi slot, but i'm sure not as near as much as the people who have done 25+!

I used one holo and it said master id....I didn't like the idea to drop my creaturehandler/commando combo so I never did id. In the mean while I dropped ch/commando for doctor/swordsman, if you do a proffesion that is needed to unlock, do you get a message?
I know I need ID (if I ever wanna unlock) but I'm curious what happens if you do a silent holo.
Mastered Marksman, Medic, Creaturehandler, Doctor, Swordsman.
My other char is a Master Bioengineer/master tailor ( I still have nightmares about the dna sampling)

I unlocked a few days ago on my 16th profession. I did all my holos but had given up trying to unlock then did a few hours later. Im a hapy man now:-D

You can Shift-F1 to target self, examine, scroll to Profession Badges, take screenshot. You can scroll back your System chat window, find the message, take screenshot. You can post the screenshots for free at www.imagedump.com.
Not saying I don't believe you, butthere's a lot of people who would bash their heads into their keyboards, if you'd show some pics. That would be truely priceless.

Will the message still be there?? i took a pic of the message on its own but didnt take one with my badges. Ill check though jus to make ppl believe in unlocking at low numbers

I also unlocked without trying, I gave up my grind when I hit master commando/master tk(pve god). But, with all the talks about a smuggler revap(ok i am a sucker)i thought oh why not. So i did master pistols then master smuggler and poof, i unlock 2 days before the 1st publish 9 date. I had done all combat profs except carbines, doc/cm/medic, scout/ranger(had to find the gorax). So after a short one month grind and no expectations i unlocked. Congrats on the unlock, also makes me wonder how many people unlocked but didnt notice, lol. When patch 10 hits that will be a great day.

you guys are just self haters. your mad because you hate grinding. but you do it anyway. i know because i hate losing. but every couple of months i find myself back at vegas craps table yelling UNBELIEVABLE. besides it is more than possible his odds came through. every once in a while someone wins big.

Congrats for making it. If you didn't actually make it, it's not like it's going to hurt me or get my hopes up, now is it? If you did make it, you deserve it (though I think you should play the lottery, lucky sod).
28 will be done for me in a couple of days (3 boxes left on carbineer), and all prereqs for 29 done (bounty hunter) so I may well have all but three by the time P10 comes out.I expect nothing... but I'll be glad if I unlock.
