And It is unfair. We bought an expansion back, we should get the right to use a little bit more of the database. I sure would be happy with 200-250 items but the yacht could realy need 500 items - the 250 for the large house are also to small, if you use paintings, lamps and a few food things.

With respect, mkummer, I can't really agree with this part. I think it's debatable what we are "entitled" to by having bought the expansion, above what is advertised. The yacht is an extra, but I think it should hold more. The devs aren't andcan't just open the floodgates without some sort of controls.

I think the ideas posted about adding lots to a (any) structure is a great idea. I have 10 lots, but I can invest them all into one house and really decorate to the hilt, or have 10 houses (or ships) with a few items, or something in between.

I understand why you dont agree with me. I have not played another mmorpg before and dont know how others handle it. But as I see it, with buying the expansion pack we get new things which consume space in our Datapad and a lot of new loot which must be stored somewhere, so I think buyers of the expansion pack should get a few more lots or space in bank and datapad or something. And please, call me Syberia, mkummer was just a name for register, did not know that it will be my name in the forums

I think the idea of spent more lots in a building is really great, also i think if a guild hall takes more lots (now just 1 more) than a large house it must have more space cause with only 250 items you can do really great things but if you want to make a factional guild it takes more items to be really great, when i talk about a factional i talk about a thematic too like a museum or a zoo, the same happens with the ships i want to decor my nova and i want to place a bethroom a rebel operations room and things like that but the Holograph that i create need at least 12 items and it's incomplete, it means that i will spent at least 20 more items in the operations room so 32, thinking in the bedroom it takes at least another 16 items, and the other room would take at least another 16, it means 64 and i don't count the lights, or some droid chasis repairing things or doing something in the ship, well then i spent more than 75 only in decoring the ship, now where i place the looted items? i think the multiplayers ships must have at least 150 items but could be really great if they have 150 in base and you'll be able to increase the capacity using more lots in it.

I think someone said it in this thread, and know that several alluded to it, but it's another great point that the *function* of this ship can really include only4 things that I can think of:

1. Starship - but it's certainly not a warship, having no combat capacity, and it's slow. It does have hyperspace, and that's a plus for someone who may be too poor to buy a ship.

2.Trophy - veteran players can cruise around the newbie areas saying haha look at me, but I expect that'll get old.

3. RP Device - If used this way, it'll only be as good as the decor, which can only be improved by adding more items.

4. Flying Junkyard - another place to store stuff. Again, improved by adding items.

Since the "best" use of these ships, as I would interpret the game and developer design philosophies, would be to encourage #3, it makes sense to allow the players freedom to decorate it with more detail. Again, this would be done by increasing the number of lots the ship required, but that's an acceptable solution in my mind.
