Playing this game is difficult for me while I'm in school, so I have to pretty much abandon play while classes are in session. However, I'm very interested (as most of you are) figuring out how to open up a Force Sensitive slot.

So anyway, I see you guys are making a ton of progress and I've tried to "keep up" on it when I could. The problem, for me, is that there's actually SO much info here that I can't possibly read through all of it. I have a few questions regarding the "Holocron Theory." (It doesn't really even seem like a theory anymore, so that might be a misnomer of sorts.)

#1) Do you have to be a rebel or an imperial to get a holocron? That is, can I get one if I'm Neutral?

#2) From my understanding, you have to master whatever profession the holocron tells you to and then search for another holocron. Does anyone know how many professions need to be mastered?

#3) Is the quest for Holocrons a solo-able excursion, or is it necessary to have a full group?Specifically, are the mobs that drop them too difficult for a "2nd tier" bounty hunter to kill?

#4) Have any rebels gotten holocrons? I've read a location (which I guess you aren't supposed to talk about on the boards) where Imperials have been finding them, but I can't seem to find information pertaining to rebel holocrons.

Thanks a ton for your response. I really appreciate it will most certainly be trying to push forward with this as time allows. Thanks again.

Grand Wrix and Greater Sludge Panther seem to be the trend at 1,1,x,x. Both are great pets.(for now)

It's been a while since I was 1/1/0/0,but I am pretty sure at that level you get a greater sludge panther and a grand wrix. These are both good pets to have. GSP are on Talus near water and GW are on Corellia and can ge gotten thru mission terminals.I''m sure there are more , but I think those were the two I got at that level.

Keep in mind the creature change is coming in the next patch, probably not this week but will probably be next. So don't pay too much for your pets because the stats will change and you might find out you can't even call those pets any longer at 1,1,0,0.

I havn't encountered a schematic that specificly calls for firegem or even crystaline gemstone.

Gemstone is called for in architect statues and (I hear) lightsabers. Stats don't matter for statues.

It can be used anywhere the schematic calls for "Mineral" or "Inorganic" and so can be used in a lot of food and medicine products, and powerups. Generally overall quality is important for those.

I have found gemstone is often hard to sell.

www.swgcraft.com is a great site that covers almost any resource related data you might need. If you're a crafter or harvest resources, keep it bookmarked.

On their link list on the left, under schematics, is a link for "resource usage" where you can select the resource type, and it will list all the schematics that require that specific type. "Sormahil Fire Gem" didn't bring up any, but "Crystalline Gemstone" is needed by tailors (jewelry and some formalwear), armorsmiths for PSGs and acid protection layers, Chefs for a couple of drinks (lets hope its the container), and weaponsmith in a few guns. "Gemstones" are used in some weaponsmith components, and in Neutron Pixie (a smuggler spice). And generic "Mineral" or "Inorganic" is used all over the place.
