Cool reward, I can't wait to fly it. I do hope they come up with a vet reward for those of us that have been here since launch. Maybe they could have a vet reward system similar to UO using account creation date to determine different reward levels. Nothing huge, just unique non-tradable items that let people know how long you have been playing.

Not to be negative or cynical or anything, and forgive if this was written but Im not reading every post....
...But a veteran reward for a 6 month veteran when the game has been out a year is kinda silly. A veteran reward we won't see for months is sillier. So you're telling me if you sign up today and when the jtl comes out this christmas(yes we all know itll be around christmas, not this fall) you get a free ship? This is a slap in the face to those of us that have stuck around since day 1 and all the praise I'm seeing is obviously because of the fact that we've had so little given to us that didn't involve a dozen nerfs. What in the world would be so hard about showing appreciation to actual game VETERANS? Why does this 'vet' reward not even get rewarded until we pay for an expansion? Why are 'vet' rewards not a one time thing instead of a daily rolling ship dispenser?
I'm not sure about anyone else that actually has been here since day 1 but I'd rather have a rug or something today than a ship in a few months that *everyone* will have.

What about the true Vets that have been playing this game since BETA! This ship is just a a carrot on a stick to avoid any loss of subscription as we approach several other mmorpg's release dates.
I have stuck with swg through the past year and I still enjoy the game very much. Ok so im no skill grinder but I have helped countless new players to get started and providing them with basic weapons and equipment.
How about showing your gratitude to the real Veterans of SWG and providing those who do not have it already the Force sensitive slot.
Afterall how many can there be? I am the only person I know on eclipse that is a "True Veteran".

I sure am a veteran but I have two players in different servers.
Will all of them receive the reward? If not do I get to choose which one gets it?
What is that 100 posts thing? Do I also have to have 100 post in order to be considered a veteran?

i was just wondering the same thing about the cards also. more than likely the devs figure that some people do buy the cards(obviously), and i think that if you went like 1 month without playing is what they're talking about. i could be wrong though. it wouldn't be fair to make the people who buy cards to miss out because they missed 1 or 2 days to buy a card, i've been playing since december and by the time jtl comes out(nov 30 i hear),i will have almost 1 yr, so i doubt they would screw us that bad.
