What kind of slice do I need on my Katran Knuckler to gget better damage and what change can I expect to see

Hello I was recently a MBH/MCarbineer/MasterMarksman, but I've switched to MBH/MasterRifleman/MasterMarksman.

With rifleman I appear to be alot slower than I am used to being, especially with master marksman, any help or suggestionsto strategies when fighting would be great thanks. Advanced sniper shot doesnt seem to be doing very much damage either, hmmm. I am currently using the trandoshan hunting rifle to hunt my marks. --Thanks--
