Hate to break it to you, but the Sith Infiltrator, Darth Maul's ship is smaller than the Millenium Falcon (the smallest of the PoB ships) and it has a cloaking device.
They need to add so many new ships for JTL, even old "reliques" like the Naboo starfighter, the droid ship, etc. But to make JTL the ultimate space experience they need to do something like:
-More interactive and costumized missions! Im sick of the only 4 types of missions, kill, escort, rescue, dock. Honestly... where are the "BIG" battles we see in the movies? when I was a pilot around 3/3/3/3 and lower (Im master alliance pilot now) I always wanted to get involved into big fights, but not the type where is 10 Tier 4 Agressors vs you and your astromech, but more like, 10 Agressors vs 10 X-Wings and you (There are just a few of these currenlty). I would like to see attack to bases a la Deep Space, where you can actually destroy an ISD and it feels good when it blows up! Make it so Imperial bases (Rebel, pirate, etc)appear randomly and are destroyable, squads of TIEs spawn to defend it, etc. Make it so a bunch of pilots (any faction) can join and have some fun in ANY SYSTEM! not only deep space (after all, blowing the ISD is too easy, and gets old fast). Give us the chance to actually feel like we are doing something cool and movie related, dont just make me take the never ending duty missions that most of us only take them for loot or the Black Sun helmet anyway 
-Give us more ships! This is a must, I mean come on! Only 3 POB ships for 3 factions... are you kidding me? Even a Cell phone space game has more variety in spaceships! Im sick of seeing either TIE Fighters/TIE Opressors, Z-95/X-Wings or that Kyryx/Vakari* ship (And now with RotW millions of grevious and JS around).
I want to suddenly spot a Lambda shuttle, a YT-2400, an E-Wing squadron, etc.
-MAKE REAL POI!!! Whats the point of POIs in the current system? a place to tell the player "Hey look, this is a ship spawn! blast away!!". Give us something that has a WOW factor, like Death Star debris, a place with a bunch of ISD pieces and destroyed vettes, etc, showing there was a big time battle there once.
- Add more boardable bases! Now with that video showing the ability to board ships and capture them, the ability to board a station (like Avatar platform) and destroy it from the inside then escape with your ships sounds like a real possibility, it just depends on you actually. (Ok maybe this is a little bit over the top, but still would be awsome, use your YT-2400 as a baording ship with your friends, while your master pilots friends blast the defenses in their attacking ships, etc)
And please, for pete's sake FIX THE B-WING CONTROLS! It controls as a POB ship when is suppoused to be the ultimate starfighter!

Never said in the movies. My line was.
For the sake of arguement though, I'll give you the Sith Infiltrator. I'll also give you the Emperor's personal Lambda Shuttle that was destroyed on the Death Star II. Both ships belonged to characters that had the fulluse of the Old Republic/Empire at their disposal for such devices. Even saying that these two ships do have cloaking devices, they are obviously extremely rare and undoubtedly Top Secret experimental devicesdue to the line Captian Piett (I think it was him) said in ESB, surely if he hadn't heard of a ship "that small" having a cloaking device they were not at all anywhere near common.
Case closed, move along. 
Of course, any sign of continuity has already been thrown to the wind

People can say things when they do not know the full story. For instance some people might say "people can travel faster than the speed of light." Even if the President of the United States says that, it doesn't make it true. The phrase "it's true from a certain point of view," springs to mind.
It is also true that if you read through some history books, they might say contradictory things occured. Life is never a certainty, that's why Piett querried "a ship that small can't have a cloaking device?" He did not state a fact, he was uncertain of something he believed.
Simply put, quating a single character stating something doesn't make it true. The Emperor himself even says things and finds out that he is wrong.
And also, I think that quest reward ships should be given in schematic form instead of deed form unless the NPC who gives you the ship is of the same factional alliance (in space) as you. For example, Darth Vader would give you the Eta-2 DEED if you are an imp pilot because the Empire gives its pilots ships, not ship schematics. However, a privateer should be given a schematic, definitely, to help out a poor broke SW.
