I tried searching these, but I keep getting the error that too many people are searching, so forgive me.
I am glowing, the old man has run up to me, and I am waiting on the sith.
I know I have to do quests in Aurellia to unlock FS skill boxes, but do these skill boxes take points away? I mean if I have used all 250, and I unlock, will I have to drop stuff to train these?

Ah I see. That kinda sucks for me personally.
So has anyone made a character builder since the changes that will allow me to explore my options on how I want to drop skills in order to accomplish my goal of making a jedi?

Each FS box costs 1 skill point, so you need 24 skill points to be able to do the exit quest.

Thank you very much, it was exactly what I needed.
A couple more questions though.
I was a hologrinder, and I hear I MAY get some free unlocks. I did notice a couple of the quests gave nice rewards along with the unlocks though. If I use a free unlock, do I get the reward?
Also, am I able to drop or change these skills once I become a jedi? It seems apparent to me, that a jedi wouldn't need any ranged speed since he uses a lightsaber. I may be looking at this the wrong way though.

Can I use a free unlock, and then do one of the quests and get another in the same phase? Or can you only unlock one per phase, regardless.

Free unlocks and quests are not related.
Once you used your free unlocks you may start doing quests.
Quests can be done once per phase.
You even can do the quest which unlocks the branch you already have unlocked with your free unlock to get areward.

Sorry to be such a noob, but I just mastered doctor a few days ago. I have had a combat profession for most of my days on SWG. I have read all of the read first entrys for this profession, but the crafting section skipped a step on me. I was starting to try out my crafting skills when i ran into a problem. The buffs require 3 of the same for abec's, but will not let me add 3 seperate ones if they are not crated. So my question is: How do you crate things. I can not find an answer to this anywhere.
If anyone has a link they could refer me to that is like a noobies guide to crafting, I would be in your debt. The ones on this forum are a little ahead of me. LOL
Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to make a schematic and insert it into a food/chem factory. I believe there is a sticky at the top of this forum that explains everything in detail.

yes, what he said. whenever you see a number of 2 or higher in the box , you need to use items from a crate, they need to be the same. making them one at a time, even at the highest will still not be alike, so you need to get them from a crate so they are the same.

Basically, you make you ABEC, and instead of "Creating a Prototype" after experimentation, you click "Create Schematic". Leave it at 1000 or if you know exactly how may you want use that number. The schematic will show up on you datapad under the data tab.
Then goto your factory if you have one, or ask a freind if you can use their's. It has to be a food and chemical factory. Click on Factory options then "Access Scehmatic Slot". Select the schematic you want to use.
Then access the ingredient hopper. Put enough of the exact resources you used make the schematic into the ingredient hopper. Make sure the are the exact same type, for example, if you used Greens with the name Borgra, then you have to use Bogra. Make sure there is plenty of power and maint. money and click start factory and away you go.
The items will be put in the output hopper when they are finished and made into crates of 50. So if you made 200 ABEC you will end up with 4 crates of 50 "identicle" ABEC.
Good Luck!
