Hey all..

just had a quick question for someone in the know.

im currently mch / commando and am considering just picking up TKA novice (wont have any skillpoints for anything above 0000) for a bit of fun.

does having novice tka provide any defensive bonuses? will i gain much of anything by grinding up to novice tka other than a new profession tag?

any insight would be appreciated.

Fiberplast panels are from somewhere in the domestics line of artisan, can't remember exactly where.

Ah yes...I read too quickly. If I remember correctly fiberplast panels are domestic arts I or II. [i]reinforced [/i] fiber panels and synth cloth are, of course, from a tailor.[p] I should really pay a little more attention to what I'm reading.

Right now i am planning to master BE and was planning to master CH but i m now having secound thoughts about mastering ch. Because if i master Ch then i will not have another combat class. So my question is, what do you think i should be along with master BE?

Well, you wouldn't be able to master a combat profession, but you could take up pistol/rifle/carbine and go up one line of the elite profession for it, plus Ranged Support 1. That'd let you do some good damage to something while your pet kept its attention. You know...the whole strategy that makes creature handlers + any combat profession deadly?

Though if you did Ranger 4/0/4/0 and Rifleman 0/3/0/0, you could shoot things from cover, harvest them for a ton to support your Bio-Engineering habit, or sneak up on the biggest nastiesto DNA Sample.

Personally I think I've got a very useful combo going, though I have yet to master any of them. I am a CM/BE/Gunfighter.

You won't be able to master both an elite combat profession and CH with points devoted to Master BE, but you can always do a split! Master CH and 4 or so boxes in an elite combat profession, or be a mid to high-level CH with more weapon skill (or vice versa). Whatever tradeoff appeals to you more... being a better fighter with a bit less pet ability, or a decent fighter with more pet ability.

/shrug... or go master elite brawler class and be your own tank .
