I'm not trying to be rude or pass judgement or anything....but when your a TKM and you have to ask what to grind....you simply haven't spent enough time learning the game....and therefore, I feel these kind of people don't need to rush to jedi....it will only hurt the jedi population and how they are seen in the non-jedi populations eyes. All the stereotypes of being a jedi who doesn't even know the normal game will come to light and that's never a good thing.
personally, I think you and anyone like you should go and learn the game before you seek to become a jedi....because knowing the game will make being a jedi a whole lot easier and keep you from coming to the boards asking simple questions that you should already know by simply playing the game.
So with that said, if you think the nade grind is boring....then your in for a wake up call....the jedi grind is by far the most difficult in the game and you will probably get bored with that too if you are getting bored with the nade grind. The nade grind is the fastest way to grind and also the most expensive. So it's probably boring for far less time than grinding normal weapons xp is. for example, you can cap combat xp on 4 missions with the nade grind and trade it inquickly if you hunt on dath. with normal weapons xp grinding, you'll have to spend more time and do approxiamately 12 missions to cap xp and then when you convert it you'll only get 30k fs xp vs the 100k fs xp using nades. See that's more xp for less time.....so in essence, you will spend at least 4 anda half more time acquiring and converting normal weapons xp then you would combat xp. That means, although throwing nade after nade is boring, you'll only have to do 4 lairs compared to 12 or more lairs.....so that right there will make your grind a lot shorter.....
Anyway, if you still want to do normal weapons xp, then as a TKM you can grind on anything that has low kinetic resist as long as it's a fairly difficult mob. Dathomir, Endor, Yavin 4 and dantooine are places you want to hunt as a TKM......fort tusken on tattooine is another place that's easy for a TKM (just watch out for the tusken observers that spawn, they can be nasty). The squill cave on tattooine is great xp too because the spawns are so fast....might have changed with patch 12.1, I haven't been there in 2 months myself.
I am a TKM and I found that doing baz nitch lair on dathomir gives great xp (about 5k per baz nitch)....it's not difficult missions and you shouldn't have much trouble with them....they don't hit any harder than quenkers on dantooine do...but give more xp (they have higher HAM) and more credits per mission and I don't believe they spawn babies like quenkers do, so your garuanteed to get maximum xp from each lair.
Other than the above places, I'd say just play the game....learn about each mob in detail, get around the gaming world on different planets....experience is the best teacher. You just may find something that fits your playing style more than what everyone will tell you to hunt on these forums.
Anyway, whatever you do, please, please get experienced with many aspects of combat before you seek to become a jedi.....it will better serve you to because as a jedi, you will be limited to fighting certain mobs and if your not knowledgable with many of them....it will just make your jedi expereince that much worse and save you time from coming back to these forums asking another what should I hunt question (and possibly get flamed)....there's nothing a new jedi hates more than starting out -20k jedi xp in the hole or having a BH on their back soon as they pull their saber out in a starport or a lambda shuttle drops 20m near you and drop off 10 - 15 storm troopers that give you visibility or maybe even attack you.
I guess my best advice to you would be to find another player doing the FS grind and hunt with them...or just tag along and watch them for a bit and see what they are doing that your not. get in a big group and ask questions as you go to see what you can improve on. Examine mobs before you jump in to kill them.....take notice of the amount of HAM they have and how high their kinetic resist are....as a rule, I generally only go for mobs with less than 50% kinetic resist depending on the HAM they have for speed reasons. Anything higher and you'll spend more time than you need to kill one creature. Remember, it's not all about killing the toughest mob for the xp....you want to kill the easiest mob for the most xp to be efficient in your time and how long it takes you to grind. being efficient will make the difference from caping xp 1 time or 3 times or more in a buff session.
