I don't think so. I'll look again when I get home from work tonight. I really doubt it. Unless it's way too small. I have an Imperial pilot in Black Epsilon so I'm in Talus and Corillian space often. Actually our guilds player city is also on Talus 1km from the Imp base. I've never seen anything like centerpoint station while in space there for any reason.

One of the coolest things from the game for mewas the first time I went to Talus. Looking up and seeing Centerpoint Stationreally made me feel like I was in the Star Wars galaxy. The fact that it is missing in space is really a blow to immersionforme.

I hope in future publishes it is put there along with the other things "missing" from space.

I just flew my final Tier 2 reb mission around Yavin, and on my way to the waypoint, there it was, lots and lots of debris. Sorry I didn't think to record the waypoint, but it definately could have been left-overs from a deathstar.

While in the Yavin space sector bring up your map. somewhere around the middle of the map you should see an asteroid icon. that asteroid icon is actually deathstar debris.

Which brings upanother question- why can't we fly by the tutorial station that is suppose to be orbiting over Dathomir?

Hey, they even missed to have suns in the systems - not to mention the orbiting stardestroyers - and you cry about a "tiny" station????

the Station isn't tiny...It has a whole city on it. I think it is close to the size of the Death Star, I think it is supposed to be 2/3 the size of the Death Star.

Centerpoint is something like 10 times bigger than the Deathstars.

Actually I've run into something that may be Centerpoint station. It wasn't marked on the map, and it was at the edge of the "space cube". However it is a lot smaller than the size it should be so I'm not sure.

Just wondering if anyone has come across Centerpoint Station, somewhere in the vicinity of Talus?

But we aren't flying in the vicinity of Talus, so why should we be able to see it?

if you can fly from Corelia to Talus, you ought to be able to see Centerpoint.

Maybe, but we can't do that.

Don't think of a JTL space zone as a solar system, think of it as a small area of space in a vast solar system. If you notice, the main planet(s) never change size or relative position, so we can not assume that we are flying all over the system. Take Corellia for instance - if you look around, you can spot two similar sized planets very close to each other off in the distance in one direction. It might be a decent assumption that those are what were drawn in as Talus and Tralus and they are entirely too far away to make out details. Remember, you are docking at space stations, not at planets.

Debris in Yavin is not a leap as there would be a massive amount of debris from the Deathstar, a lot of which would linger all over the systembefore eventually falling into the atmosphere of the gas giant or planetoids.

Sigh, I'm not trying to back up a game with technicals, as it is only a game - never let 'facts' get in the way of 'fun.' But you'll actually get more immersed if you think of a zone as a commonly used area of a system, rather than as the boundaries of the entire system.

As other people have stated, Centerpoint Station is so incredibly large that it's too big to fit in the space zone.

You'll probably never see a Super Star Destroyer, either.

The best I can guess is 16-18,000m^3.

leads to the question: what are the units supposed to be? judging from the time it takes to travel about 100m it just cant be meters. 100m/s would be about 360km/h and especially the ship i started with felt more like 50m/s which would be slower than your average car. not to mention a super star destroyer would have over 3/4 the size of one of those space "areas" and comparing the speed of the fighters flying over its surface in rotj with the speed of the ships in jtl would basically say: yep, jtl ships speed is complete rubbish and you might consider walking instead. so maybe it's miles? but with 100 miles/s you would pass about 10 super star destroyers within a second.

in other words, how big are those sectors REALLY?

That's a good question, and it motivated me to do a mathematical analysis of it. Check out my thread on this here.
