I know we have all been hitting this issue for quite some time, and I wanted to begin a petition to show support for keeping Jedi skills out of the JTL expansion.

The mainstream community has its reasons for wanting Jedi out of space, so here are the one's I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Continuity - There were NO JEDI STARFIGHTERS at this time in the storyline. If any care is given to continuity, there will be no jedi ships

2. JTL is a twitch based system, it has the potential to save this game. If Jedi are allowed into space, it will completely ruin the game for those people who do not want to be force sensitive.

3. Jedi and the Jedi revamp have completely ruined the ground based game, and thanks to the changes in the Jedi system, everyone will eventually be forced to at least augment thier character with force powers. If the space expansion is left untouched by this menace, it will please the majoirty of the community.

4. And fianlly the most important, the vast, vast, majority of players DO NOT WANT JEDI IN SPACE. If there is any hint of customer satisfaction in SOE, Jedi will not be permitted in space.

Everyone has the own reasons for wanting Jedi to remain out of the lime light, and many peoplejust hate them out right. Perhaps the revamp needs a revamp. But that's another story altogether

I agree with all of your points

Man who the hell are we kidding?

I hate to lose faith but remember when the Devs said the life of a Jedi would be very, very rare and not many would be seen?

You know marketing is going to slap something on the box like

Continue to unlock the mysteries of the Force as you pilot a Jedi starship and demonstrate your special Jedi skills!

After that I hope everyone just leaves the game and marketing will still be clueless.

The mainstream community has its reasons for wanting Jedi out of space, so here are the one's I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Continuity - There were NO JEDI STARFIGHTERS at this time in the storyline. If any care is given to continuity, there will be no jedi ships There isn't supposed to really be any Jedi in this timeline, and definitely NOT the rampant infestation we're seeing. So while I sign, please be aware that the devs threw continuity out the window.

2. JTL is a twitch based system, it has the potential to save this game. If Jedi are allowed into space, it will completely ruin the game for those people who do not want to be force sensitive. Jedi should be allowed in space, but what I think you're saying is that Jedi should not be allowed to use their force powers while in space, which I agree with, if for no other reason than to keep things fair across the board. Of course, while the devs have thrown continuity out the window to suit themselves (and their pet Jedi), Luke "used the force" to destroy the Death Star. Expect the devs to use this when they hand the Jedi their desire to be able to use the force in space, which if not in JTL to begin with, will get implemented when they whine about it.

3. Jedi and the Jedi revamp have completely ruined the ground based game, and thanks to the changes in the Jedi system, everyone will eventually be forced to at least augment thier character with force powers. If the space expansion is left untouched by this menace, it will please the majoirty of the community. You would think that, but given their track record, do you really expect them to be worried about pleasing the non-Jedi? And before a Jedi comes on here and complains of this, just remember how you whined about CMs, and got it changed within about three days, when everyone else has been complaining for a lot longer and told it was working fine.

4. And fianlly the most important, the vast, vast, majority of players DO NOT WANT JEDI IN SPACE. If there is any hint of customer satisfaction in SOE, Jedi will not be permitted in space. Allow me to direct you to the fact that no one has wanted Jedi to be involved in the GCW, and yet we're all fodder for leveling Jedi's.

Everyone has the own reasons for wanting Jedi to remain out of the lime light, and many peoplejust hate them out right. Perhaps the revamp needs a revamp. But that's another story altogether

One thing to realise is that the Jedi HAD to be fixed before the combat balance could go through. Ask and I will write an expose about it

Please, by all means go ahead. I can't wait to hear how Jedi were so integral to the GCW and the combat balance.
