docking doesn't work before or after. i even tryed killing of 2 of the escorts and disabling the 3 then disabling the freighter and going back and killing the escort off. and nothing happens. right now i'm sitting there with a disabled freighter and nithing is going on. no npc have shown up no more valerians. nothing is happening.

What exactly does the Quest Journal entry for the mission say? Often, there are details there that mean more than everything your trainer tells you about the mission.

it says disable the freighter and eliminate the escort. and retrieve the weapons shipment.
Well I've done that in any number of ways but it doesn't do like some of the things i've read. Like the jabba people showing up to take over the freighter or move valerians showing up. all it does is sits there after i disable the freighter and take out the valerians. I can't bord the freighter and inspection reveals nothing. So either I'm not doing something right or the mission is broken. All i would like to do is get past the stupid trhing so i can get the rest of my tree.

I've done that mission succesfully 3 times now. Killed the escort, disabled the reactor. Then it went to the capture process and turned the mission into an escort. No docking required.
It does say occasionally on various missions that you'll need to be close to the ship to start the capture process. I'm usually parked within 50m after disabling. Hope that helps.

what do you mean capture. is that a ? cammand or something?

Capturing a ship happens sutomatically during some missions. You disable the ship then get really close (when you bump into the ship you know you're close enough) andcut your engines, then sitthere while it goes through the capture process.

are you sure you have destroyed all the of escorts. i ran into a problem on a rebel mission that one of the imps tried to make a run for it and i couldnt find it for 30 min it seems. then boom there it was and i killed and the mission went on.

yup i'm sure that i've been killing all the escorts. so that wasn't the problem.
I'll try getting in close and see what that does.

I'm on the bria server.
well I'm 24m away from the freighter and it don't seem as if anything is going on. Am i suppose to get some message once it's starts taking over the freighter?

what work ? did ya just not totaly disable the thing? hmmm ya thats a tuff call if that was the case. hard to know what was happening without being there. glad you where finaly able to progress.

ok this is bloody annoying. I sat at the thing 24m away from it and all it did was hyper out. could it be my ship? or is there a / cammand that i need to use? either the thing is broken or i'm really not doing something right. all the quest log says is:
Steal back for jabba the weapons shipment that was never rightfully his to begin with.
target the freighters engines to disable it. and take out the escorts.
now i've done all that over the past 3 days and nothing is happening. it's almost enough to make me want to cry.

If its disabled IE engines then it shouldnt hyper anywhere .... Dont just take the engine to 0 hit the engine until it disapears of the selection
