Well I couldn't have done my 81 boss today without my combat medic. I think it is pretty much a given that you need healing or to fine tune your methods. Use your specials at the times you think they are most needed for the new NPCs. I found that the more running you do from them the more root and KD they toss on you. Overall I am pretty happy with the changes and I think they are pretty nice. They do need to fix the health regen more for those 30k bosses.

Despite the waaahhhhh remark I made above,
I agree with the health regin. The true elite boss marks are friggin undentable, that does need to be messed with.
However every other mark besides the top ones are fine, and are actually fun and challenging now.

wow your SOL buddy any advice I could give you would be useless but I can give you two food ideas I was told Exo-nutrient cake and a quality corralian ale is good for a bh with not very good healing aspects

The same thing used to happen to me when I had a Master Smuggler/MBH/pistoleer dabbler. If there's a nearby lair, run your mark into it and wait for him to use an area attack--they almost always do. The lair can bring down a mark's health extremely fast. Just between me and you and the people who read it in the other thread I posted it in, if worse comes to worse you can go to a nearby mission terminal and just happen to get one that pops up near your mark. Use ruby bliel too.

OK yesterday night i was doing bh mission to finish my 4th investigation. I am 3xxx bh, master rifles, master pistols, 44x4 marksman so i can do a lot of damage and have pretty good defenses.
I drew up a single silver chevron mark (dont know the real name lol) which should have been pretty easy becuase ive taken those out in about 30 secnds usually. He had 18k ham which was about usual. Anyway i send out my robot and start attacking with my capped t-21. im fully buffed with doctor buffs, food, and drink. the ifght lasts about 5 minutes and i LOSE!. Im like waht in the f-ing hell. I could only get him about 2/3rds of the way down
This is way too stupid. I have taken out double gold chevron bosses in about 1 minute like 5 days ago and now i cant even take out this guy? What i have to be a healer now to do bh mission? well if i do then put some damn healing in the bh trees. I was super buffed and everything and i still lose? GIve me a break, this is the worst improvement ever.
.......
Healing is pretty much needed to solo elites/bosses these days. My suggestion would be to drop some of your skills for some medic.

I have 0220 medic and do fine with HE Bio clothing. There's alot of strategy on these gold elite boss marks which make it alot more enjoyable. Try running up to your mark and hitting it with a startle shot. It will switch to melee. Snare and kite. Repeat as your mark switches back to ranged.
