Also why do we have a choice of what % to repair your ship? Who would ever pick anything other then full? If your lacking in funds that bad that you cant fully repair your ship I would say DONT FLY!

Only the 'hard' planets will give you the 'only 75%' repair. It is to simulate these area's being on the fringe of cililized space. I think the different repair options are for players who do not have a lot of cash... so you pay what you can afford, then get a job.
