Yeah, I don't want to sound like a dïck or anything, but it IS called the JEDI Starfighter... thinking it would be Jedi only isn't really based on a hunch...

a name is a name, and i doubt it would take a jedi to pilot a dumbed down a-wing. Maybe jedi used it back in the glory days, but who's to say normal people couldnt steal one and fly it just fine.

There is no reason anyone couldnt fly it. There is nothing special about the fighter. It is a marketing gimic for toys is all, period. The day they add special ships that only a single class in the game can use is the day this expansion will be officially munchkined to the loudes whiners, the jedi. You want to fly a small light ship, use a Z95, Tie or a syyk. You arent special, were in a timeline were jedi are supposed to be blending in not flaunting what they are. If you get Jedi only ships i think you should be forced overt in them. Lets see your jedi skills in space when you actually need skill not little macros or jumping into the nearest body of water to hide till your buddies show up. You dont get that in space.

Boy I am so glad the DEVs ignore petition threads. This is one that wont be seen.
Nothing for jedi special in JTL at all.

I sure hope not, Jedi in my opinion ruined the ground game, nobody just plays anymore. It seems your either of the Grinding for Jedi XP crowd or your the Grinding for cahs crowd. Because of both these crowds caused the economy of basic things to shoot out of control. Leave Space free of anything remotly looking like a Jedi touched it.

The RotS Jedi Starfighter already has an "Advanced" version in the game.
It's called the TIE Fighter.
And the "advanced" version of the AotC Jedi Starfighter is called the A-wing.

Devs need to design any new ships as far as i know only the imps have more ships the devs haven't used.
