Thread: 6 rebel ships
The Longprobe!
Dutch: "How many guns do you think, Gold Five?"
Pops: "Say about 20 guns, some on the surface, some on the tower."
(aside) "So I should be at the exaust port before they pop my shields."

ATM rebels have 1 less ship then the other factions, which isn't a real problem to me but the devs have designed a lot more ships for the other factions and i think they look good and the Rebellion is missing out. would be nice if some time in the near future the devs design 1 for the Rebellion, got the nova but need a small fighter.
Annnnnnd, what' wrong with the Awing, the fastest and most maneuverable ship in JTL?
Ummm....
Your Dunelizard and the Tie Advanced will out-maneuver an A-Wing with the same components.
However, the Rebel ships are fine. Now, there*was* some serious skimpage on the Privateer ships that has been rectified.
Simply not true. We already tried that.
I have a friend that has all hard points loaded, a 97 speed engine, and an imperial chip in his droid. His cruise speed is 1200, 1500 with boost, and optimum turning speed is 1002.
Dunelizard or advanced gets no where near that. The Interceptor does, but no Privateer ship can match that.
Maneuverability in terms of sustained turn rates is dictated by the engines. And the speed modifiers for the chasses are the same. The maximum acceleration along the PYR axes is higher for the Dunelizard and the Tie Advanced. The Tie Advanced, especially, outclasses the A-Wing in maneuverability with the same components because of the fact that its acceleration and deceleration modifiers are identical, yet the YPR acceleration rates are almost 20% higher across the board.

What I would like to see is a big heavy fire power ship at Master lvl with better handling than the B-wing and not needing a crew like the Nova.

I realize the numbers are there. But the true testament comes on the player test, just like stats in the ground game.
That's what I'm talking about. Try it. You'll see that the dunelizard is inferior.
