Space hasn't changed much since it was released. Nothing needs to be made easier, nothing needs to be nerfed or 'balanced'. All you need is a joystick or mouse.. and practice.

I've been soloing Vortex Squadron in a standard Y-Wing. Honestly, I haven't noticed any increased difficulty.
