You need to look at that link, speak to the ship's pilot and learn.

Adonis is without a doubt in my mind, the finest KSE pilot in the game because he scares some of the best pilots I know (even those on his side) and myself in PvP with it. Usually a KSE is PvP suicide, in this man's hands it's PvP often PvP suicide to fly against it.

Adonis is real helpful too. He has been a great contributor of re'd armour for my A-wing.

Thanks for the compliments, Leaph. You're a much better pilot than I am, though.

i have the KSE too, but its not a good enough ship +the hit box is too big.
i fly the heavy x-wing as my main. for me that is the best ship.

Don't argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their lvl and beat you with experience!!

I think the Fire Spray is just an awesome ship. My shipwright friend flies his all the time and is an awesome terror in PVE. As for PVP, I really haven't witnessed it as much.

As for two gun slots and two missile slots that's just great for PVP in a Heavy Bomber Class. I consider the Fire Spray a Heavy Bomber, but with one clear difference than most bombers is the Acceleration and Deceleration. This separates the good, the bad, and the ugly.

We just had a Heavy Bomber Furball on Lowca thanks to Tilca for organizing it. It was great fun. We were out in Deep Space in TIE Bombers, Y-Wings, Rixx, Dunelizards and X-Wings. There were a few Tie/In (40k version). It was a nice 6 vs. 6 match up.

The best was seeing a TIE Bomber and a TIE/In own a JSF that was trying to disrupt our event. We vaped that JSF a few times. (We asked him politely not to disrupt our event, but alas he started attacking the ISD to create massive lag. We already had our rebel opponents vape the ISD a couple of times already to reduce lag)

It was quite amusing that the JSF had to result to Epulse. Epulse or not TIE Bombers and TIE/In repeatedly vaped the JSF.

So, moving on, the Fire Spray has much crisper handling than the TIE Bomber. Fire Spray - Good, TIE Bomber - Ugly.

The TIE Bomber would wallow like a boat. Some of the other pilots referred it to "Swimmy". So I asked my shipwright friend if I could try his Fire Spray. And that Fire Spray is crisp. It starts, turns, stops, rotates on a dime! That is just one amazing thing about the Fire Spray insane firepower with sharp turns. Very very responsive.

Anyways real Space PVP involves lots of tactics, which I'm currently learningfrom my new wingmates up in Lowca.

There's the Dogfighter Ships (A-Wings, Interceptors, Kirahz) where you chase lead, turn, and dogfight.

There's the Jousting Ships (X-Wings, Dunelizards, Rixx) where massive firepower from the guns coupled with crisp sharp turns can two-shot vape a ship.

There's the Heavy Bombers (Oppressors, Y-Wings, TIE Bombers) where you stay back from the action and use the missile lock range with IR2's and launch missiles away. Lock on from behind and vape ships with your heavy guns as well (secondary function)

In a Wing formation, all these ships have a purpose. The Dogfighters protect the Missile Boats. The Jousters keep everyone busy (have to be ultra aware as there's no warning, you're just vaped, not enough time to cap-shield-to shunt)

The Missile Boats lock on the opponents dogfighters/jousters lobbing missiles.

So in a sense it's more of tactics and knowing your role in the Wing. Good coordination and a good team plan makes everything work together. It's really fun.

That Lowca event was the most "Starwarsy" feeling I had in Stars Wars Galaxies. Just seeing TIE Bombers, TIE/In's vs. X-Wings and Y-Wings was just pure immersion. We all launched from the ISD while the rebels from the Rebel Station and we all met in the middle at the same time. It was great coordination, teamwork. The opponents were fun. Most ground PVP ends up in Gank Squads with "Heros", trash talk, and hurt feelings. In Deep Space it was coordinated, even odds (granted TIE Bomber isperhaps the worst ship in the Imperial fleet) and in the end, talked great things and gave out pointers to everyone. We discussed tactics at the Nym's Cantina afterwards. Really really good fun and a great learning experience.

Anyways, after flying the TIE Bombers, the Firespray is a dream ride. It's a great PVE ship and would make a greatHeavy Bomberin PVP. Given enough skill and tactics (again depends on pilot's skill) it can transition to a great jousting ship because of it's crisp handling.

Again, it's not the chassis. It's the pilot equipping the ship, choosing the right equipment, and knowing the purpose/use of the ship.

So when I feed enough parts to my Shipwright friend (I keep him constantly supplied) he'll give me a firespray for little or no cost. I"m still waiting for the lucky RE disk drop!

I can't wait. Could it be that he let me try his Firespray to feed his RE addiction?
