If I want to reroll the character on my second slot, can I just delete the existing (non-Jedi) character and make a new one? Or was this a one time deal?

Lets say a rebel becomes a jedi. He gets another character slot. Can he have his extra character be an Imperial?

On the loading screen that comes up after you select your character, they are announcing that in the coming months (however long that is), we will be given an extra character slot per server. So instead of eight toons over eight servers, you can play on four servers with two toons each.

I trying to decide if that changes my mind in any way. I'm downloading the 10-day trial of WoW right now.

I'm right there with you Pyke. I do like some of the combat changes in the game, I've been playing a medic on TC and have finished the first "tier" and have greatly enjoyed the storylines and missions.

But I play this game for the crafting. I won't go to WoW, but I might quit all together.

When I first used to play this game, I used to brag to people about how real a game this is. You could have practically been anything. You wanted to be a soldier, you grinded a soldier. You wanted to be a chef, you could cook foods. You wanted to be a pawn broker, be a master merchant, etc. Pre-Cu I got friends to join, because it was not level based. Your character never got more powerful as the game went on, it just got more skillful. That had an appeal. That was gone in the CU and I was unable to use my best recruiting lines to get my friends here from other MMORPG's.

But I still loved the business aspect of running an armorshop. I was a late comer into the market. I had to start from scratch and had my crafting toon for just overnine months. There were (and are) some very strong and successful AS on my server that I had to compete with. I enjoyed trying to get my niche in the market and to make my place (which I feel I did).

But now that's gone. No decay is brutal. Yeah, people have said that tailors and architects have survived that way, but I don't agree. That is also the reason I am an AS and not a tailor or architect.

But back to Pyke, I personally think the quests and combat changes in this game are fun and can be found to be just as enjoyable as WoW. The hard part would be playing in a place that has continually took away what you REALLY love and left this pos instead.

/sigh

p.s. and this was longer than I meant it to be, but I haven't had my vent post yet....so here it is.

There's my problem. Everytime they change this game and I get used to something in it or find something I really like... they take it away. I don't know how much longer I can handle it. Really wearing on me and I know my wife would love to see me quit this game

Oh, nice. What are your options?

A) quit

B) go back to Bria and start all over. I already gave away everything I owned (100M+ in credits, resources, loot, etc)

C) don't take my chances on Bria since it's so unstable and start a brand new toon on some other server.

I'll prolly choose option A...
