E-WIng..correct me if om wrong..but im pretty sure that the E-Wing came out after the battle of yavin..and hasnt that already happened in the SWG timeline???
You know, I actually know a lot of stuff about Star Wars, but the E-Wing is just a ship I never learned much about. However, I consulted the Star Wars Encyclopedia, and it says the E-Wing was introduced during Admiral Thrawn's reign of terror. That occurred after RotJ. That in itself shouldn't prevent it from being introduced though as the Devs have included the A-Wing and B-Wing which weren't in production at the time of SWG.
I get the feeling we are never going to see the TIE Defender or the TIE Avenger (both TIEs from the TIE Fighter series). It would have been easy for the Devs to adopt them for this game, but they chose not too, and they added their own TIEs. I liked the Avenger, but I was never crazy about the Defender's look.

Besides that, I think it kind of stinks that you're basically forced to use a Decimator or Tie Oppressor(or Aggressor, can't remember which) at master because the way it is right now, if you were going to use something like, the Tie Interceptor and you wanted to use lvl 10 parts, they wouldn't fit... You'd be able to fit 1 part in there. I think they should allow "advanced" versions of EVERY craft at master, so for those that want to RP, they don't have to use some n00bie Tie and expect to survive in Kessel or Deep Space.

I was kind of hoping they would allow for more variety as well. The last thing we need is everyone flying the same craft (kind of like everyone wearing Composite Armor). While the TIE Oppressors, B-Wings, Novas, and Decimators are nice, I don't want to see everyone flying one. I want to see more X-Wings, Y-Wings, Interceptors, Bombers, and regular TIEs as well. Shoot, I even want to see that tricked out Z-95 come out of nowhere and surprise you.
Granted he was force sensitive and the son of the chosen one, but if Luke can get in an X-Wing and destroy the Death Star after flying a T-15 Skyhopper from his uncle's ranch back home, it shouldn't be too difficult for the average pilot to handle similar craft.
