I would like to see a new player species...namely Droid.
It would be fun to play as a droid, and have upgradeable parts that are lootable. You could upgrade in a way similar to starship management, but at a droid station instead.
Also, more planets and new things to kill. More quests.

I'm hoping for some server merges to liven it up again. That would rock.

KASHYYYK! if they make another expansion pack, we need to see the planet of Kashyyyk. That would be sweet!

True WoW did have an impact but so did JTL because I have seen ALOT of new players lately, not just imposters posing as new but actual new players. I don't think the popultaions changed all that much. For eveyone that left seems someone new joined but idk..

I don't think SWG will ever go to Xbox since Sony and Microsft are competitors in the console market. Also, Japanese gamers don't play PC games.

they must be making cash off this and not expecting it to go down since they just released in japan and i saw on another site a version for the ps2 and xbox is coming out so to me that says this game is far from dead when its just expanded to a new country and onto 2 other platforms.

With SW license behind it and the amount of capitol required, both Sony and Lucas Arts have a fairly long-term plan for this franchise. The population would have to drop to next to nil for them to abandon it.
And server merge?? No thank you very much!! Can't even begin to fathom what a nightmare of impossibilities that concept would create.

WoW has put a big dent on this game.
Most of my Guild plays WoW now, and I have been hearing only great things about the game.
Not really, it has only weeded out those who have played out the natural cycle of any game, and has thinned out the whiners. If you look at the WoW boards you'll come across the same type of posts: "Game breaking this", "Nerf this", etc...
