Also rishathra ...I take it that only shipwrights can reverse engineer?
One final thing here is my current spec which I havent got round to changing yet as per advice ....so feel free to pick me up on my mistakes ......the most important thing though is that I really need to find someone to reverse my stuff and to figure out what overload chips are, where to get them and how to use them?

Ok Thor. i'll comment on the stats.. i won't be able to give you my stats till tonight. i'll send them to you in a PM.
what level are your comonents also?
Reactor-not bad. you have the right gen rate. its not a bad reactor, but if possible, use a player made reactor as they have the best mass to gen rate ratio. generally looted reactors havemore mass for the same gen rate from a player made reactor.
Engine-I take it this is a lvl 6. is it RE'd? probably not since you're asking about it. also being rebel what was your reward engine? did you take a long time to master or did you do it fairly fast and start flying recently? I ask because if you have the pre-nerf lvl 6 reward engine then you'll have a 92 speed with 63 pyr. what I did with mine was tons of looting and collected lots of lvl 6 engines with certain stats. my lvl 6 is pyr 68/75/72 with a speed of 95. and the very next day i looted a p-rate on a lvl 6 with a 69 rate. that ticked me off as that was the one stat i was looking to get. oh well. but lvl 6 is by far the best engine overall you can get. mass to stats ratio is the best. if you dont' have a pre-nerf you'll have a 72 speed i think. still look for good lvl 6 engines and then RE it. You'll save a lot of mass and get better engine stats.
Shield-you're energy and recharge are nice. but your mass is high. like the reactor try to find a player made shield. unless you have alot of shields of one level, say 7 or 8 with good stats that you can RE you're taking up a lot of mass with looted shields. player made ones can get 2000 energy front and back with 12-13 recharge with ok resources. with good resources those stats are better.
Armor-not bad, mass wise.. hp are kinda low. player made armor can get over 1k hp with around 6k mass. if you want to keep armor look for those stats.
Cap-well the reason you're draining your cap is because you have a fairly low recharge rate. 36 isn't that bad, but for 3 weps it won't cut it. if you want to keep mass to a minimum look for lvl 2 caps with recharges at 39 and have them RE'd. otherwise look for lvl 6 caps with recharge over 45 and have them RE'd. I run a lvl 2 cap with a 37 recharge and i dont' drain it at all. but that's because I have weps that use very low energy per shot. so I can get away with a lower recharge rate.
Booster-well, i can't tell you too much about boosters since I don't run them. i usually just give them to our guild SW's and let them RE them or I sell them back for money.
weapons-you're right on the refire rate, the lower the faster. looks like you're running a lvl 6, lvl 5, and lvl 1? try running 2 lvl 7's or 1 lvl 8 and a lvl 5 or lvl 6 and 7. you'll get more dps with less energy cost then what your using now. Just because the Xwing can use 3 weapons doesn't mean it has to use 3 weapons. this can me tweaked with a lot. you have to find weapons that you like. i have a RE'd lvl 8 that only has 26k mass. and a lvl 7 with 14k mass. but the damage i have with those 2 are tremendous. there's lots of options here that can be worked with. but try to stick on a high damage weapon first and then complement it. but keep an eye on the energy per shot.. the lower the better. i don't worry about hte refire rate in my xwing. some people do though, its all about personal preference on that.
Droid interface-you definately save mass with using a lvl 1 DI. if you want your commands to happen faster you'll have to move up to a lvl 6 to get your time anywhere near reasonable though. I got lucky with a lvl 1 14 speed. but that's all personal preference again if you don't mind waiting that long. you can hita command, then hyper some where, hit another command, then hyper, hit another. that will save some time if your DI speed is high.
Those are just my opinions, hope they help.

Yes definitely look for a player crafted reactor. I have a level 1 reactor that weighs 1300 and generates 12400!
Personally I would ditch that booster. My rule of thumb is that if you are flying anything but the multiplayer ship or the very high mass ones, don't go beyond a level 2 booster, because the benefits don't make up for the increased mass.
You would also do good to look for a better capacitor. There are level 2's out there that are much better than that.
As to the engine, the reward engine post nerf is 79, which is still better than anything you will loot at that level. If you RE nothing else, you must RE your reward engine. Even the post nerf ones can't be beat in terms of weight versus effectiveness.
With the weapons, definitely start collecting parts to get them RE'd. They aren't that bad though. I would recommend that you leave that level 1 weapon off until you have the room to put something bigger on your ship, because even those level ones drain the capacitor quickly when you are firing three weapons. The boost in effectiveness from reverse engineering is amazing, especially for level 5-7 weapons.
I would also like to repeat what that other poster said. Are you using droid programs? These are very important and vastly increase your effectiveness. There is a very good post stickied on the pilot boards that explains them in detail.

Thanks to the comments on these threads I havestarted to use droid programs ....man that weapon overcharge 3 is excellent ......I can now take down teir 4 & 5s if I take there weapons out quick. ALso do any of you no where the best place is to loot lvl 8,9 and 10 equipment.
Another thing .....i was told that if I wanted to get lvl 10 equipment reversed I would need 10 pieces of lvl 10 equipment & that if I wanted lvl 9 equipment reversed I would need 9 pieces of lvl 9 equipment and so on dependant on the level of the equipment I needed reversed......is this true??
On another note ......how much would I excpect to pay for a good but fair priced kse firespray? Also what are the stats of a decent one.

It was given to me buy my guild leader, but I will log on tonight and get a screen shot.
Personally I don't really glance at the mass much because I am happy with the curretn equipment I have and haven't changed anything for a while.

youre right about the equipment
to RE a RE lvl 10 engine you need 10 RE lvl 10 engines.
edit:
try dathomir. tier4 and 5 freelancer ships drop lots of engines
