best looted engine ive found was a couple days ago with 97 point something top speed. best crafted engine i have and seen is 104.7

i wouldn't worry about it. i have been consistantly looting 80ish speed engines with 69-70s ypr out of deep space, in fact i looted an 87 last night with ypr in the high 60s. even with the nerf people are going to be able to RE together some pretty decent lvl 7+ engines, certainly enough to remain competitive.

yeah, they'll be a little heavier, yeah the top speed might be a little low, but (and i preach this constantly) equipment takes a back seat to wingmen/skill in JTL. don't get too hung up on it because players make mistakes. how often will two people get have an encounter where neither makes ANY mistakes and the result is determined by +/- 6 points in your ypr? it happens, sure, but how often?

I've looted a 101.1 speed engine (Level 10) and a 103.3 speed engine (Level 8), both in Kessel.

The 101 RE'd to 107.3 with 50k mass now in my YT, and the 103 RE'd to 108.7 with 26k mass, now in my Dunelizard.

BTW the PYR on both are in the 70's and 80's.

yikes thats a nice engine. i'm working on an RE for my lvl 6 92.2 reward engine to throw in an interceptor. hoping for <8k mass. hehe

so there is still hope of looting reasnoble mass engines with 90+ speed and good YPR's then? cool

managed to pick up a 95.6 68/64/71 prenerf for 200k today

how lucky is that?
