Anyone notice something odd when going at extreme speeds? I only remember it happening in my regular TIE Interceptor a few months ago though.

When I got it to break 1400 speed I noticed a new sound, sort of like a whistling. I haven't seen it on my other ships but I haven't done high speed experiments since that normal TIE Int.

that a crafted engine? 119? best the shipwrights on Wanderhome have made so far is 118

There are quite a few 119's on Bloodfin, but they're pricey...

Plus, you have to be picky, a lot of them have the 119 spd, but the YPR is in the high 50's to low 60's.

With EO3 and boost, my Heavy Z hits about 1850 using crafted engines and boosters. I'm still trying to get my A-Wing to work with EO4 and a 117 speed engine and a 40-ish speed booster. As soon as a loot a reactor with 20k generation and 16k mass, I'll be all set.

my bellubub hits 1300 cruise roughly,1500 boosted (and heres the kicker) its using a 98.2 speed REed prenerf engine,and an REed 900 mass 25 speed boost booster,the engine is 8k,with EO3,soon as i decide to stop being lazy and buying myself a MK6 flight computer ill be trying EO4,i know that RO4 gives me loads of surplus power

ahahahahhaha, it feels nice to still have been able to have the fastest ship on crobantis, literally

heres mine -

Dunelizard fighter

Engine overload 4

92.2 speed pre nerf quest engine

booster ( not a GREAT one)

and engine overcharge or whatver it is that neutral pilots get.

2048 speed

....this was a long time ago but....

hehe i needt to try this on my vaksai fighter when i get back in the country... since the vaksai gets more speed than any other ship that i know.... *eveil laugh* ...and lets add some 119 engines to the mix >
