True Bamasi, but no need for the devs to continue to bash at the continuity. There are plenty of species named & have info/pics available for the Devs to choose from.

My guess is the dude with the death sentence on 12 systems, Aqualish?
And the monkey dude who piloted the Falcon with Disco Lando.

Maybe gungans and ewoks, the two most lovable species in Star Wars

You wont see devaronians, probably ever. The species have to be male AND female. Female devaronians NEVER leave their homeworld. Beyond that, I believe the females have a VERY substantial difference from the males in appearance (in regards to fur and what have you) So the modeling would be much more work.
Much as we all love Villie from dark horse, I think they are going to remain NPCs for the time being.

Yes I agree that the Sullustians are most likely since you can see a bunch of them as NPCs in the game already. Duros also seem pretty likely because of their reputation as space travelers. I would like to see Kel Dor, but I don't know of any connection they have to space flight. I havesome more suggestions for possibilities:
Ki-Adi Mundi's species the Cereans(the conehead jedi in the Jedi council in Episode 1+2).
Neimoidians (trade federation guys). I saw a rumor about Episode 3 that said there wouldbe Neimoidian pilots. Only problem with these guys is I'm not sure whether or not there would be much demand for them but I could be wrong.
Gran (three-eyed aliens). These guys seem pretty common throughout the entire series and I remember a pod-racing pilot in Ep1 was a Gran.
Dug (Sebulba's species from Ep1). Obviously good pilots but I don't know how rare they are supposed to be (their homeworld is Malastare which seems to be pretty integrated with the rest of the galaxy).
Bith. They are pretty numerous as NPCs in the game but they seem more suited as entertainers than starfighter pilots (assuming that the new species will even have anything to do with piloting).
This is probably the least likely but Zam Wessel's shapeshifting species the Clawdites.
Wow, more possibilities than I thought. Well, hopefully it will be one of these and then maybe I'll get a prize or something.

It was mentioned awhile back by devs that any new species would probably be humanoid appearance like they are currently in the game, it makes the process of making new species awhole lot easier, as the basic mesh is already in the game, which all the current species are made from. Of course this may well of changed by now.

Chiss=Boring. Humans with blue skin.
Just give humans a blue color on their skin choices, and red eyes. They already have the ability to migrate stats to 1100. O heck, give them Equilibrium, too, while you're at it. Then all the humans and Zabraks can be Chiss instead.
Suits me fine.
I'd like to see Ithorians as one of the 2 JtL races, but the Devs said the art was too difficult...

I think Ithorians(Hammerhead) would be unlikely considering all of the modeling difficulties that they already have getting Armor and other items to fit on wookies and Twi's.
Sullustians are a lock I think.
It's the second one that has me stumped, If I had my wish it would be Ithorians though. Supposedly they are very good with organics and things of that nature - good medics and chefs.
Kuati would be another but they are essentially just slightly different humans if memory serves correctly.

Yea I agree, Chisswould bepretty boring. I stand by my earlier guesses since most of those are pretty humanoid (except Dug) without being so similar to humans as to be boring. I doubt Ithorians would make it cuz of their bizarre shape and plus I dont think they are common enough anyway.

I just watched ROTJ and I would have to say Sullustans because they are the asians of the Star Wars world. That's a direct quote from my friend!
Just listen to them, they sound asian. Alright well now that I sound completely stupid and have lost all creditibility. Here is what I think.
Out of the possibilities - Sullustans are on the top. Pilots, need I say more.
The rest in order of possible...Duros, Weequay, Quarren, Ithorian, Bith
Personally I would want to be a Chadra-Fan. heh heh heh
