I have way more than 4 or 5 ships, just deed them and keep them in your bank, do you realy need 9 ships in your data pad? I personaly would not want to keep trak of that many parts, I just switch stuff to the ship I want to use. I keep 1 MP ship and whatever 2 fighters are my fancy at the time.

I would like to see these eventually come to the game


1. Cloakshape fighter, clone wars era

2. Barloz freighter, the model that the yt series replaced in popularity, many systems are the same

3. Skipray blastboat, Empire era

4. yt-2400, another yt series vessel

5. preybird heavy fighter

6. T-wing

7. R-41 starchaser

8. CSA systems IRD fighter

9. Toscan fighter (predecessor to the Ywing)

10. Passenger liner craft, that would really rock ie: with staterooms and everything

11. more non combat purpose craft and things for them to do....space is the life of SW, fighting an blasting isn't everywhere and all the time....there needs to be a meta game in place for cargo hauling, perhaps have the amount of raw amounts of X materials sent to planets determine either resource harvesting amounts, or quality one can find on a given world. Have pirates steal cargo and whatever you are hauling if they disable you, not blow you up. have ships get scanned by Imp patrols everynow and then....which brings smuggling into the game. All of this can be tied into the Ground GCW meta game, space GCW meta game, Server economy/supply meta game. Something on this level, is the holy grail the Devs are seeking to achieve to "immerse everyone in the Starwarsyness and all professions have an impact and role in the galaxy at large"


12. the space sectors need to be enlarged x2 or even x4 of current size....it currently feels as if we fly in a fishtank.

s ship similar to the ebon hawk in the kotor games, ok its a 4 thousand year old design but i've always thought it was cool ship.

I want the naboo starfighter. Does it seem logical that the royal forces of naboo fly around in fighters designed by the Hutts? The only reason we don't see them in 4, 5, and 6 is because they didn't visit Naboo. Besides, the neutral pilots need a hyper-maneuverable equivilent to the A-wing and Tie advanced. Priviate ships shouldn't be limited to the bulky Hutt design. I wanna see some slick Corellian fighters for Corsec aces to beat up people with.

Adding new ships to the game could make a really cool expansion on it's own.

So if SWG: Ships of the Galaxy did exist, I'd like to see the following ship:

POB ships:


Imperial;



  • Lambda-class Imperial Shuttle from ANH, ESB, and ROTJ

  • Sentinel-class Imperial landing craft from ANH

Rebel;



  • The Republic Cruiser from TPM

  • GR-45 Medium transport ship from ANH

Nuetral;



  • Modified H-type Nubian Yacht from AOTC {Modifications would bethe addtion of gun ports}

  • yt-2400 from ANH

Special ships {Vet rewards and special certs needed. Ships open to all factions}


POB:



  • Advanced Armed Star Courier from TPM (aka Darth Maul's ship) {a non-cloaking version. certs needed; to own MBH, MRanger, or Col. in the Imperial forces. to fly novice pilot}

  • Naboo Royal Starship from TPM {a non-chrome version with original artwork gunports, certs needed; to own Master Politician, to fly novice pilot}

  • Punworcca 116-classsloop from AOTC (aka Count Dooku's ship minus the sails) {certs needed; to own pre-order SWG: Ships of the Galaxy, to fly novice pilot}

Singel Player:



  • Naboo N-1 Star Fighter from TPM and AOTC {a non-chrome version. Certs needed; to own (+) RSF faction points, to fly Ace Pilot}

  • Delta-7 with Syliunre-31from AOTC (aka the 1st Jedi Star Fighter) {certs needed; to own Jedi Knight Status** (light or dark). to fly Ace Pilot (due to it's small size)

  • Virrago from SOTE {certs needed; to own (+) Black Sun faction points, to fly Ace Pilot}

Just some thoughts. Hey if we ask for a Ship Expansion we might get it, and by having added ships in an exspansion of just ships it would allow for a larger veriaty of ships to be added.



**Jedi would not be able to use the force is space, they would just need to be Jedi inorder to own the ship.

I like the ship ideas, but I'm completely agianst any ground occupation requirement to fly them. Why? Because almost all but a few select professions get left out. I am an devoted pilot, but I am completely crafter. Unless you give some special kind of ship to a master shipwright/atisan/architech, I am completely against it.

well I'm not a crafter, so I couldn't really say what kind of ship a crafter would have. You're a crafter what kind of ship/s do you think would be a good add-on.


I will say this though. I don't see why a Ship Wright isn't already certified for all the ships. I mean come-on he builds the darn things, he should know how to fly them.

Um, nope. Nowhere was it in ANH.


Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see both that and the YT-2000 in game. The 2400 was the model Dash Rendar flew inShadows of the Empire.
