Oh... and on another note.. you can have the Delta-7, I would rather have the new Jedi Starfighter from Ep III.

One more thing if there is a jedi star fighter i dont care if u call me a baby , a lamer , a noob , a loser i dont care what you say i hate u very much for F**cking up the time line. Tie fighters , x-wings , y-wings , a-wings , Jedi Star fighters..hmm something doesn't belong here. Someone reassure me this is not happenin this is not what i hoped for im lookin forward to the orginial star wars galactic war. If there is new ships fine with me but not ships from years years years ago that are supposed to be gone.

God , i dont understand JTL is supposed to be based on Episode II? or based on Star wars the galactic war? If there were jedi star fighterss in the galactic war please let me know because ive never seen that before. How do u mix episode II into the future? Very confused here.
Episode 2 is set only about 20 years before the original Star Wars (ANH to the kiddies here). The F-14 has been in service for over 30 years in real life. I don't see any "time line" problems with the "Jedi starfighter" in SWG.

I agree, it doesn't belong, there shouldn't be any because of the simple fact that on this timeline believe it or not all but a couple jedi are dead....
I believe it. But believe it or not, Jedi are a big part of the whole Star Wars experience and always have been. Far more so than image designers, bio engineers or rangers. Continuity or no, they needed to be included.

The jedi starfighter isn't really that good, it's basically a pre-ANH a-wing with an astromech. I dont know about its warhead capacity, but in ep 2 it only had lasers. in rebel strike it somehow had jango's seismic charges but that was just because those are so cool(which they are)and it was for the fans.
yeah what he said... stop your whining and get an a-wing. oh btw a-wings do have astro mechs (at least in game they will)

Continuity is not the problem anymore, it's their control which has ruined this game.
I liked the fact that before Publish 9 I would only see 1 Jedi every 2 weeks without looking. Now I see 5 a day.
If Jedi get ships i'll be mad oh yes, but if they get special powersI will personally do everything I can in my power to make sure no one else buys the game.

Just because you dont see the ship in episode 4-6 doesent mean it dont exist, as some of you seem to think. Its not like the ship is only gonna be piloted by jedi... the ship is called Jedi Starfighter because many jedi used it!
Its just an ordinary ship... nothing special, calm down.
Im not a jedi but I would love to fly one of these babys!

apparently it has a hatch where the jedi can stick out there saber and block every shot fired at them. If they let this in they'll kill the space game, like they killed the ground game

only way to impliment a long out-of-production kuat systems engineering(currently kuat drive yards) delta-7 light interceptor would be to use the NON-MODIFIED version, that was simply the delta-7, and not the delta-7 aethersprite, which means NO hyperdrive and NO jedi order installed systems/subsystems. this starfighter is pretty much the republic roughequivilant to a tie-advanced (or an a-wing without the integratedhyperdrive). it was never meant to operate in deep space alone.
this craft would have to be cheap and require medium skill to fly, thus making it a common ship, and since we presumablynever saw one of these after the clone wars, would not have a place in JTL.

Gaah...
I didn't see any zabraks after the clone wars so they cannot exist
I only saw one YT-1300 so there can only be one.
I never saw any Twi'leks in space so they can't go there.
I didn't see Coronet in the movies so it can't be in the game.
...and on and on and....
Stuff can exist even though you didnt see it after the clone wars and it can actually exsist even if you never saw it in any of the movies.
Use your imagination, young padawans!

why not just have things in game that are fun. Most of the players dont care a whole lot about the timeline, since its already off anyway. I like the jedi starfighter would be very funto fly one and customize it. (I also really like the naboo starfighter)

farao just proved a big point and does not know it
things that were not in the movie are still in that timeline the emperor had a secret army of dark jedi was that in the movies no. he had thousands of cloaning tanks and cloaking devices large enough for star destroyers. they were not in the movie but they were there
