NO, I think you'll find this game is set between ANH and ESB. That doesnt matter anyway, Im pretty sure Lando didnt just set up Could City in a couple of hours just so Han would have somewhere to land, it must have existed for a good few years, and would make an ideal themepark.
Ohhh, perhaps the reward for finishing thye Bespin Themepark could be a modifiable(but destroyable) version of the vet reward ship
I think that you will find that A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back ARE Episodes IV and V, so think before you speak

Or better yet make a Sector of Bespin atmosphere that has cloud city and all the other stuff that we could fly around and land at the city. That would need a new flight system to simulate astmesphere rather than space though.

And that right there is why I hate roman numerals, I always mix them up

Although I was against this at first I can now say that adding Bespin to the planets line up could be a good thing, and heres why:
1) Now that there are a lot more multi-player ships flying around in space, and the vet reward yacht, having a planet that could only be reached through the use of player only ships would be a nice added feature to the game.
2) Cloud City is just one of many refineries on the planet, not to say that we couldn't use the mobile gas collection platforms, we could have a non-factional theme park that everybody could enjoy.
3) Quests could be laid out across the whole galaxy instead of just keeping it onthe planet (i.e. you might have to travel to Endor and pick up a NPC and bring them back to Bespin, a Smuggler could travel to Tatooine to make a delivery of gas/goods, or someone might be threatening to reveal the pressence of the gambling casinos to a Imp/Reb/Hutt and need to be stopped)
4) Rewards would have to be something that everyone could enjoy. It shouldn't be armor, cause all we'll see is players running around in it, it shouldn't be a weapon due to the fact that it would exclude some professions, and if it were for a new type of ship it would have to be one that any of the factions could use. My idea would to grant exp. bonuses like how it done in the force sensitive quests. As well maybe a new house design or some kind of artistic furniture.( this might keep some of the "grind players" away.
5) Traveling from city to city on Bespin would be through the use of the twin-pod cloud cars. These vehicals would be rentible from a NPC, instead of a player owned item. (this way the twin-pod cloud cars would only be usible on Bespin)
Well thats my thoughts, what are yours?

I don't think the time line is a problem as it would have been there during ANH and teh time upto ESB, I like the thought of colud cars but also other player controled ground/Hover/fly combat vechiles. This would be a great looking place to explore, and I hope it gets some thought for the long term, I can't see it happning soon but it's good to have things to work for later.

If they implement Cloud city, and Bespin in general, then I'd like to see at least a few additional things:
1). Gas mining. This could include a new type of harvester for Bespin. To make the Tabanna gas special, it could have an additional property rather than the standard OQ and DR for inerts--something like HR or CR or even Conductivety. It would be something only found on Bespin.
2). The danger of falling off the platform. Part of the appeal of a Cloud City is the ever-present sense that you're suspended and could fall. My favorite thing in Jedi Knight:Academy was force pushing Stormtroopers off the edge, lol.
3). Room Rental. Rather than buy a house on another planet, you could rent a room (costing 1, 2, or 3 lots) to live in within Cloud City.
4). Proper physics model in which if you fly down into the clouds, the increased pressure and heat would eventually damage your ship.
5). Bespin could be the 'vehicle' to finally launch a proper z-axis mobility in the ground game. In this way, jet packs could be very fun and useful to get around Bespin.

P.s
I do not want to see anything in Cloud City having to do with Jedi. And so i dont get barked at by the "jedi kids" who play this game instead of Jedi Academy, make something up yourself and do what im doing with Cloud City idea's. Like Hoth or something. lol

If you want rewards to be something that everyone can enjoy, why do you try to discourage grinders from doing the themepark? Sounds kinda paradoxal if you ask me. Other than that, nice ideas
