Hello. I have a simple question for those who build furniture.
Is it yet possible to build anything other then Style 1 or Style 2 furniture? (Like Large Potted Plant stye 1.) I've seen many different styles, like the cactus-looking Large Potted Plant stlye 3. Is it yet possible to make these? I haven't seen any for sale....

I am really curious about this, and I'm currently addicted to my In-Game house so this will help alot. How do you place an item on top of another item (like a vidscreen on top of a table)? I've seen places using this and I would like to know how.
Also, what is the technical name of those Jedi Council looking chairs? I saw them in Coronet Capitol I think, and when I examined it, it didn't say what it was actually called (I haven't seen them anywhere else).

You need a house with stairs to place things ontop of other things, and even then it's tough.

yes, a good tip is to make a few simple macros. i use 3 right now.
/move forward 2
/move back 2
and
/rotate right 45
saves you alot of time if you tinker with your home as much as I do.

But I've seen this in places thatt didn't have stairs, the viewscreen is right on the table. I guess theoretically you could spend alot of time matching the top of the table with a particular stair, but how does that explain the no stairs places? I'm scared.

Those are NPC buildings meaning the dev's created it and expecting them to use in game rules for something like that is the same as expecting God to be bound by earthly rules. Some items drop to table height but they are few and far between, trust me, so it may have just been that. And if you really want your place to look nice and don't bother spending a bunch of moola make a post on your server forum to get an interior decorator. Saves the hassle of doing it yourself and can make them end up lookingamazing...of courseI am an interior decorator so I'm a bit biased.

I've seen this in a player shop though...
They were those vidscreens you can buy, on a cafe table (which is, for those who don't know, basically a scaled down dining table).

I've resolved to simply drop things on the stairs so they match up, that seems to be the only way to do it properly.
