How is my idea "backwards thinking". You can't just say something like that without giving a further explination. As far as what you said about....well everything that had NOTHING to do with my idead. The incentives are there for some, and not there for others.

I guess you're saying, in essence what my sig says. Fix it first, then add more content. Well then we'd agree. However I'm saying when they DO add content, it should be something cool like this instead of the tripe of obi-won. That's all.

Is this game broken? Yup. We play it because it's starwars. However what "starwars" to you may not be "starwars" to me.

All I'm saying is adding to the "space" part of the game, that's really shallow. I mean c'mon. The ONLY thing one can do in space is Fight, Mine, or walk around in a multipassenger ship....THAT's IT!

Say what you want about the ground portion of the game....but atleast there are MULTIPLE options. I can be a cook, tailor, bounty hunter, smuggler (not really, poor smugglers) commando (lol, ya right) etc....

What can one be in space? ugh....a pilot...and.....um.....mining.....yea.....

I'm already a master pilot. However, I'm a gamer before I'm a pilot. And the ideas I made were just that: Ideas that starwars fans and gamers could enjoy. Why do people seem to think that what I'm saying is suddenly going to stop the work on the ground game? It isn't. Think about ALL the work that's been put into the ground game, and it's still crap. All I'm saying is let the dev team put 2/10th the amount of energy into getting the space portion of the game up to snuff. I mean, would TWO publishes devoted to space really *HURT* the game? Think about that...

For me, this isn't a competition between the space game and the ground game. To me they're both one and the same. Both need work, and I suggested some IDEAS to improve space.

As far as space "being what you make if it", I find that to be a really, really lousy piece of reasoning used because you don't really have any other argument to make against my idea. I mean, it's such a vauge phrase...."space is what you make of it". Hell, I'd say the ground is more along those lines since at least there players have more core TOOLS in which to work:

-I can place a house on the planets. Can I place a starbase?
-I can be a bounty hunter on the planets. Can I hunt a bounty in space?
-I can smuggle (not really) on the planets. Can I smuggle in space?
-I'll take an hour to walk across an entire planet. I can fly across a space sector in 5 mintues.

That's my basic, most fundamental point. There's more to do in the ground game than there is with space. You may not LIKE space, but it has more to do with STARWARS than standing around shooting dinosaurs. And in all seriousness the notion that the "ground game" needs it more is laughable. The ground game HAS been getting worked on for over two years now, it's not better. I don't believe it'll get too much better because SOE has focused on releasing these little adventure packs and calling them expansions because they know we'll gobble them up with no questions. I
