the imperial gunboats are difficult. YES however to take out a rebel gunboat is a pure jokewith my imperial pilot i can take out the entire fighter escort and 3 gunboat patrol in deepspace and not take any damage what so ever.in Kessel it is even easier since they fly solo with no fighter escort.

they use an imperial only specialwhich sends in roughly 10 tier 5 ties to harrass and bomb the crap out of whatever it is the player had targeted when they called in the bomber strike. one bomber strike can take out the entire vette's weapons system if they keep the fighters busy and off of the bombers.

Bottom line, Corvette is a lot easier to kill then a GB.. I waste covettes solo all the time. They are a joke at best.. The GB's are much harder in my opinion, so I would say the FP are right on

Actually, I gotta say, as a Privateer, I've helped both Imps and Rebs on their master missions. For some reason, the Corvette is a piece of freaking cake compared to the Star Ravager.
