im curious.. firespray and krayt gunship have aypr (max)rating of 0.9 and the Opp is 1.2 (advanced is 1.1)..pretty sure the Firesprayout turnsthe Opp - which is fair enough as its a rare ship. So why does the 3 gun (+1 MPturret) huge mass Krayt also get the same uber turn rate? or have i got this wrong....

I thought the Firesprary handled way better thanthe Oppressor. But when Igot to actually flyone,I found out that theFiresprary handles just like the Oppressor except that it oversteers a bit less, and that's it. And I noticed both ships have exact same stats too when pressing 'v' key in space. It's not 0.9 like what you said.

Maybe engine has something to do with it. I used the same engine so didn't notice much difference in stats. BTW, is the ypr (max) the lower the better? Like .9 is better than 1.1?

guess i need to go check my facts then before opening my mouth
might be diff engines effecting the stats. but i thgouht these were hard coded stats tied to the chassis.

im not sure... if its tied to engine then id say higher was better as the 1.2 i got in the Opp was with a better engine than in the Adv and Fire. Ill get back to you on that one.

Where turning/cornering and YPR is concerned you have two things going on:
Turn radius - how sharp a circle you can make
Turn rate - how fast you can make that circle
YPR on engine i believe influences your turn radius. That is to say.. how tight a turn you can make.
Turn rate, simiarlly i think, is purely based on the chassis.
