Just ran it twice in a row. Never tried to dock with the freighter, as it tells you that it is being taken over as soon as you disable it. Hope this gets hotfixed soon.

The fix worked. The mission, once the freighter was captured,took me 46 minutes to complete.

I failed this twice last night (12-21-04). Was the fix today? I destroyed the fighers after the freighter was recaptured (disabled) and disabled the fighters on a second attemp. Each attempt at the mission failed.

heh ill have to pick it back up...dropped it and went corsec in the meantime
ill try again tomarrow.
