I've never had any decay from damage from DS...however, you get shot down up there, and it will take a toll on your HAM and BF

And btw, You sure he didnt just /launchmissle (fake missles) to distract you?
Works with many people

sry i thought this was the jump to light speed forum. and this /launchmissle comand how does it work? do i even needa launcher?

You're better off not even asking about it. As you said, the guy who used it was lame. Lame people think it's fair to use it and attempt to lag people out (which is the real reason it works, not because people get rattled). It's a fun little way to say hello to a friend, but the minute you use it in PvP, you become one of those lamers.

I concur! It is extremely lame tactic to use it in Space PvP!
BUT it is a nice gimmick for i.e. recording fraps space vids, hence i see no harm in telling how it works.
All you need is to be in space, no rocket launcher needs to be installed, all you actually do is target whoever the rocket should fly to and type /launchmissile in any chat... A single rocket will then fly from you to ur target, causing a nice looking explosion that does no actual harm
But do NOT use it in PvP it´s extremly lame, because you can write a macro firing missles every few seconds which will cause space to lag extremely at some point.

Yup, just another sheep adding that this is way lame, not at all cool in PvP. It's a fun command, don't abuse it and get it removed. And if you need fake missile spam to defeat an opponent...well...that's sad.

i just got imp ace and i want to go into deep space. problem is, is that the guy says i need 30000 points. what kind of points do i need faction?more space xp? what????

You need prestige points, which are basically what you get instead of XP at Pilot Ace. so go shoot some tuff and you will get plenty 
And congrats on master pilot always good to see more people in DS.

just push Ctrl+S and look on the left with all the other XP you have there should be something like "Imperial Prestige" and a number or whatever pilot you are

If you want to go to Deep Space, just blow up 4-5 T5 ships in Kessel and you're there.
