What skills have you found most beneficial in your path to Master Fencer?

If you had it to do again what skills would you pick up first?

Also what is your most common used special attack?

Currently my fencer is at 0/2/1/1

How is this template, master Pist, pistol and support line in marksman, master scout, traking line in ranger, 4000 medic. So what do you think.

So, basically, Pistoleer, some non-combat stuff, and no Doctor, CM, or CH?

Footwork has been very good to me...I'd definitely go up footwork/intermediate technique first if I had to start over (because Body hit 2 has been my best friend, but now I have body hit 3 which I'm sure will take its place). A hit from the gaffi using any health hit is freakin'...DEADLY! Well, mostly health hit 2, I guess..especially for PvP, health hit 2 gets it done if you don't have a heavy damage attack available. However, body hit 3 allowed me to down a commando in full composite in two hits using my gaffi ohhh, I love my gaffi soooooooo much

I was thinking of master makr and master pist, i am adamint about these two, 2000 medic, dirty fighting in smug (so also 4000 brawler) and then 4030 scout. My question is if hte smug stuff is worth it or if the points could be better spent in more medic or scout skills.

Dirty Fighting shots are worth it! Panic shot is the bomb, it delays animals and your opponent for 10 while you stopping shot them to death. Also, low blow is the only way a pistoleer can get a KD.

Dirty is definitely worth the hell it takes to go up the unarmed line.

p.s. you might also want to get fast talk so you won't lose as much FP during PvP.

Prereq for TK novice is unarmed 4 on the brawler tree.

I suggest taking some medic skill while working hard in unarmed because u will be harmed a lot by mobs in close fighting.

I fought all my way up to TKM alone in Talus first then Dathomir and Dantooine.

I see Teras Kasi like a way of life in SWG, its great for RolePlaying too and i like it so much

Will I be able to run up to a kam on dath knock it down and beat it to death w/o dying alot?

Assuming a mob doesn't have over 30% kinetic resist you should be able to rip them apart fairly quickly. My favorite target is blood seeker mites. They're nearly impossible for ranged combat professions to kill. They last about 18 seconds to a high level TKA.

If you keep CH for as long as possible, the tanks will be a HUGE help when it comes to getting xp. Keep in mind, the creature will attack the closest thing doing damage, so stay an inch behind your pets hit box and the creature wont touch you.

Please don't shoot me for these newbie questions but i've never looked into tka before today when I saw one rip thru my gurreck in no time...It was fun to watch the way she moved.

Anyways atm I am master pistoleer, master ch, medic 4/3/4/0 scount 4/0/4/0 marksman 0/0/4/0 with zero skill pnts remaining and I am feeling a need to change. The way I fight now is the same no matter what mob ie send in pet..Bodyshot3 spam until it's dead. This works on kam's on dath or kimo's on LoK, very boring stuff. It does help keep the guild funded however. I have 900k pistol exps saved and 300k combat saved atm too.

Could you plz give me a breakdown on pre skills needed for tka. Also what other skills do most of you take to suppliment(sp) tka. I enjoy solo'ing ALOT, will that be possible going tka? Also, I love to pvp but I do not feel the need to win everytime and actually enjoy running around laughing my brains out as I blast someone and get blasted.

Pistoleer has zero status effects ie stuns, dizzy etc. We do get one kd and that is within melee range. So combo's built upon status effects will be completely new to me. Will I be able to run up to a kam on dath knock it down and beat it to death w/o dying alot? Also, what do you guys and gals like most about your profession. I believe you are elite as I rarely if ever see master tka's on bloodfin.

Just wanted to say thx in advance for the information.
