Well we've yet to see what us rebs get up in space but 10 credits says it sucks compared to what the imps get. Think of it now in the ground game. Who has the hugest and strongest factional pet...the imps. I mean come on, I remember a dev posting about rebs getting tanks back in september '03 and I'm still waiting. If it's coming out in the GCW revamp then I still have some arguments but I'm not gonna state them right now. However we should be on par in space from the start so that we won't have to be purposely screwed only to be fixed.

Complaining about AT-ST's is really kinda ridiculous right now. They usually aren't a factor in PvP anymore. Everyone with their uber composite armor, full set of buffs, a variety of chef food and possibly smuggler spices make them kind of obsolete. I haven't seen a PvP fight in which factional pets made any difference in a long time.

Is it because Jedi right now are not trained by a Jedi Knight or a Jedi Master that Jedi are much weaker than the Jedi from say Kotor and Jedi Academy? Is it because of the time-line and because we have to be weaker due to the fact that we are meant to die to BH's and if we PvP to other regular players?
What ever the reason. It makes the game more challenging and sometimes more fun. But in some cases. Annoying. Thoughts please.

MAny of us have been looking for the pet with pinning attack and those reports of creatures having it we'd been shooting to hell cause they're not backed up by screenshots.
What I was thinking is when we look at the current roots in the professions, all of them break on additional damage done to the mob. It makes me wonder if Pinning attack for pets were removed as a result?
Why'd I think that, well if you send a pet to attack something or do an special attack of some sort, it will continue to attack after that special attack. SO if a pet was to use pinning attack it will then continue to attack the creature or NPC in question therefore breaking that root. Thus pinning attack would serve no purpose. Unless you have uncanny timing to get your pet to pin attack and call it back to you without it re-engaging the enemy. This attack would mostly be disfunctional.
Thuough having conceeded that, root will probably still serve a purpose for a pet with agression to stop something chasing after you. Yet from the mechanics of the game it seems silly to give a pet the ability to root, when it will break that root seconds later by attacking the mob.
Just a thought.

That actually makes a ton of sense....
I wonder if Ko-aIri could get that confirmed.

Was just having a friendly duel with a guildmate and he notived that his Ruby did not dissapear out of the buff bar after using a stim. It actually seemed to be working as advertised, and his stims were being limited to 30 second roundtime.
He healed with stims 4 times on the same dose of ruby.
I hope that this particulardrink has been fixed, and it was not just a bug that made it work correctly this one time.
