Thread: Please Sign This petition to Fix the actual Planet Kessels appearance!
I agree they have more important things to take care of but here is a quote from the starwars.com Star Wars: Databank.
Even the old game Rebellion which represented every planet as featureless spheres went out of its way to make Kessel look like a lumpy asteroid.

A lumpy asteroidal mass that can barely be considered a planet, Kessel's claim to infamy lies in the precious strands of glitterstim spice that striates the otherwise unremarkable rock of the frigid world.
The Outer Rim planet is too small to hold an atmosphere of its own, so its surface is marked by massive air-producing factories that belch out breathable air. Despite these measures, the air is still too thin to breathe without oxygen masks, and the factory's output eventually bleeds away into space, leaving a vaporous trail behind Kessel as it orbits its bleak and distant sun.

This is such a minor issue I would rather the devs concentrate on more important issues. Come on, stop knit picking.

From what I've heard, the devs version of Kessel is a beautiful thing to behold (I have yet to see it). A big potato doesn't sound quite so pretty.

Kessel ingame indeed does look pretty, but if potato it is, potato should be ...so should centerpoint station too as well! ...The ugliest planet though to me is the one in the Correlia system...it doesnt look....well...finished...touched up where it needed to, doesnt look real (compared to the other ones)
I agree, Corellia looks almost like the artists used crayons...
