This is in fact do able...I've done it several times. As designed, or bug, I'm unsure, but I have done it several times, just /destroy it, then call it from the deed next time around.

It is designed that way=feature, question came up in beta, devs responded with positive feedback. Indeed the deed not supposed to disapear, place it in the bank, use it whenever need to recreate it...

This is correct.....

Anyone can test it out, I did on a character I made on a server I don't play on just to be safe and found out...
I had zero ships when I logged in created up to three with the Deed and deleted all of them and then created three more deleted those and then created one more.
