It really sucks. I don't see the logic. Makes ZERO sense to me. If the DEVS are so concerned with
VETERANS getting 75 more freaking slots to store stuff with, then they should just hang it up. I mean
really, what is the deal?? If you are going to offer a VETERAN reward, wouldn't it be nice to actually
be able to USE IT?? And if it includes 75 more storage slots for your inventory, then SO BE IT.
We've played and payed for this game. We've paid for the JTL Expansion for gosh sakes. I'm tired
of all thebureaucracy going on in this game, and I know, I know, if I don't like it then why don't I just
QUIT?? Well when something is as STUPID as this, you can't help it to feel this way. It's like dangling
candy on a string in front of a baby, here take this, oh HAHAHA no you can't really have it. Oh wait
if you go buy another account then you can have your cake and eat it too. Idiotic Bureaucrats.

I agree.
My friend from a few years back won a car. The apartment he lived at only allowed him to park one vehicle as he lived there by himself. He also had to get his own gas and pay for the oil changes. What kind of stupid prize is that? He had to give up his old car and put money into the new one to even use it!
Even worse is the cooler I won at work. Had to by my own fricken ice and beer to put in it. Talk about useless reward.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Have a nice day all.

I found that I could get it and when I saw it used 1 lot said screw that. Maybe I'll use the Decimator every once in a while when my lots are open but other then that the multi-player ships will be as deeds. Rather just sit in someone elses ship anyway.

I really hope they chnage this back. Its pretty friggin stupid to worry about 75 items when they encourage the use of lot swaps for every kind of structure in the game. SOE, GIVE UP! We need more storage! Stop trying to limit us and FIX THE DAMN DATABASE!

It's because they don't have a very good database, and a HUGE chunk of players are getting that reward. It was either that or only one decorated ship at a time (which even more people complained about since they wanted to decorate their YT and yacht). Not a huge deal really though. Just get a guildmate or two or three or however many and set up a group admin house to store resources and crafting stuff in and use the MP ship as your house. Don't know how well that will work out cause I don't know if only the placer of the prop. has to deal with lot cost or if all admins do (never shared with someone a prop. that I didn't place).

They require lots because of people that complained.
Originally, MP ships took no lots, but to ease the load on the database you could only have items in 1 MP ship. This upset some people who insisted that they must have 2 decorated MP ships. Their posts were in a thread on this forum discussing the MP ships before beta ended.
The people who wanted 2 decorated ships came up with the "solution" of having MP ships take lots. Unfortunately, this happened many, many pages into the thread, so anyone who didn't care about 2 decorated ships had stopped reading the thread. The devs, seeing no oposition to the idea, put in the change.
After it went in, crafters and guild leaders brought up on the beta boards that this change really screws them, since lots are at a premium for them. The devs responded by making guild halls require 7 lots instead of 9. Unfortunately, crafters are still screwed.
So, now I've got a "reward" I can't use unless I want to reduce my ability to harvest by 20%. Yay!

This, in the immortal words of Bazooka Bubble Gum makers, really blows.
Devs, you need to fix this issue. We are the people that have been paying your salaries
for the last year +. This is not right. Fix this. We implore you. Fix this.
Don't you want us to enjoy the game???

This makes me so sad.
My post did not even make the fabled 1 Star Bandits hot list.
