I have finally given up with this set of news...having resigned myself to the 5th as being just about bearable, I couldn't take the "maybe 12th, maybe 19th, maybe we don't know anything" which I got from the three Game stores I visited this afternoon! I have now followed the - hopefully - good advice and ordered from Import Madness who are indeed offering priortiy international FedEx delivery for 13 pounds in addition to 22 for the game - 35 didn't sound too bad for reliable early next week delivery as I reckon the UK will probably get JTL officially after Christmas this rate

Anyways, i just ordered my CD-key online and it will be emailed ot me tomorrow morning. I suggest everyone with preorders cancel them and buy a key online. That will truely show Activision how pissed we all are.

I got mine through www.importmadness.com Fed-exed to the UK within 2 days for only £35.

Don't laugh about them, I feel sorry for them and some of my friends have to wait now.
I don't know why Germany or at least Amazon.dedidn't have to follow that newly set European release date of Nov 5th, I am glad they didn't though.

Yes i have and it works brilliantly. got the key from dlgamer.com and got it within 10 minutes. took 2 - 3 hours to dowload of over a broadband link which i did while i was in bed. played allday yesterday and having great fun.
only downside is no manual but its easy enough to pick up on the forums or just common sense.
if i were u i would try it

Quipuman, Are u saying if I go to DLgamer.com & buy the serial only option....I will get my key in 10mins, and can then just play the game? or do I need to buy the download files & key option? I am really interested in this.....If its as easy as buying the key, I will buy asap......

I cant beleive this! Why the hell is this happening to us? Is it so hard to realise the game on the same date as the Americans? We are paying cvustomers to. Well I have had enough and I am gonna cancel my pre-order from amazon.co.uk and order straight from America instead. I suggest you all do the same. Well done activision you have lost one customer.

i just been on DLGamer for some reason it stays on preorder....doesnt let me buy it straight away?
and how do i find out if i have the JTLS files alrdy on my pc to be able to play it

Once you recieve your key through email(takes about 10 minutes to 2 hours by all accounts, depending on how busy DLGamer is when you order), hit the Register Expansion button on your launchpad. Once it confirms the key, simply restart the launchpad and it will detect you have no JTL files and download them from the SOE server.
Ill be doing this today, as it probably wont be long before SOE realises that this is costing them a feckload of bandwidth and stops it. In my view the buggers should just suck it up and let us do it, as I said before, Activision may be to blame for the lack of copies in some European countries, but SOE are to blame for choosing Activision as the distributer in the first place.

I ordered the US version from www.sinclair-software.de and it arrived yesterday
There you can get just the CD-Key emalied to you, too.
