I'm not currently doing it but I always thought some ranger skills would be a good fit with BE. It would allow you to get more resources (meat) plus track down those certain kind of Creatures.
Master BE
Master Doc (so close I can taste it)

Adding Ranger is a very good choice, you get the ability to see extra information about creatures, such as, specials and ranged attacks. Not to mention the ability to make large camps that repel aggressive creatures and have a food/chem crafting station attached, providing you with a safe place to throw together templates while sitting right next to the spawns you've been sampling from. The tracking is great also.
CH is also a great choice, lets face it, being able to play with the most powerful clones that you can make gives a satisfaction all its own. Its also handy to have a pet around when you get aggro'd by those Mutants, let the pet take the hits while you run away lol, but don't forget to get him to follow you, or he'll stay there and take the punishment till he drops =/

I'd have to say CH just cause it would be cool to call your pets...I don't have enough skill points to become a CH or I would
Also include some medic in there and you're set. You can Master BE, CH and Medic and be set

Ok here it is, I want to see what you think my last profession will be, if I decide to grind through BE
In order I mastered
Smuggler
Marksman
Holo1 Creature Handler
Holo2 architect
doctor
fencer
Holo 3 pikeman
Marksman again
Scout
and
Holo 4 says BE but i cannot do the crafting atm so I am BH 0/0/2/2.
My question is, what do you think my unlock would be IF i do BE
I have had the horrible misfortune of getting CH after I ALMOST mastered it and Pikeman after dropping it halfway through.

So far, my pattern is as follows:
h1 Master Tailor
h2 Master Musician
h3 Master Architect
h4 Master Dancer
Other mastered profs are: Artisan, Marksman, Medic
Since my holos have all been elite, does that mean a basic would unlock?

I've been wondering about this for a while, and I don't know why I didn't ask it sooner, but here goes. Say someone's a Master Brawler, Master Marksman, and Master Scout. BH would be unlocked for them since they have mastered Marksman and Scout. If they choose to pursue the BH tree, would they have to give up brawler, or does pursuing BH bring you to two professions, BH and Brawler, as if Marksman and Scout are like stepping stones to it like there are in the basic profession levels.

to get to BH you do Marksman and Scout - then you can start BH - Once you finish BH you cannot go up any more elite trees. You have like 20 some odd points left over but all you can do is start some starting professions with that.

I will have JTLS soon and I have been wondering something while I try to plan ahead. I read the FAQ but none of that answered this.....If I am say an Imperial Toon.....can I choose to go down the Neutral/Privateer Pilot Path? Or is that for Neutral Characters only? At first it seemed kinda obvious to me that yeah it would prolly be for neutrals only, but some of the neutral ships look really cool so I was just wondering.
Also since I don't know much about the ships is it even worth it to go down the Privateer Proffession? Or is Imperial or Rebel just as good as far as ship selection and skills in PvP? I mean I'm sure in PvE its all the same unless anyone cares to explain differently to me
Thnx.

Privateers kind of get the shaft in PVP. The Krayt's a great heavy fighter, but light fighters are (generally) where it's at, and neither the Kihraxz or the Dunelizard can stack up against an A-Wing or an Advanced.
This is looking to change completely with RotW, and the previous poster is correct in that they get some great PVE ships, but if for some reason your plans revolve around PVPing a ton over the next four weeks, I'd recommend thinking about going Imperial instead.

Hmmm, well I doubt within 4 weeks I will be PvPing so hopefully Neutral Pilots will get some love because even though I will have 2 characters eventually right now I just have the one so I think I'll go Neutral. However I heard EVERYONE can use the Firespray at Master Pilot if this is correct? And a number of people seem to think its a good or can be a good PvP ship. So I'm not to worried right now but I see your point.

Neutral players on the ground can only be Neutral/Privateer pilots.
Imperial players on the ground can be Imperial pilots or Neutral pilots (I recomend piloting out of Naboo, since they are Imperial aligned Neutrals)
Rebel players on the ground can be Rebel pilots or Neutral pilots (As I understand it, the Smuggler's Alliance out of Tatooine is the Rebel aligned Neutral path)
Finally, for PvE combat, Neutrals get it a LOT easier. Their ships often have more guns than an equal tier factioned pilot, and there is just no comparison in ship mass. Higher mass means loading up bigger toys, meaning better blasters, better armor, better shields, etc. I don't PvP, so I don't know how that balances out, but for PvE, Neutrals have it made.
