exactly as stated above....im confused about the whole motherboard deal, I read it and didn't understand, cuz my Battlefield Vietnam game aand others with online capabilities do not lag like this

as mentioned a few posts up, opening a panel and blowing in cool air helped some, but every once in a while it comes back

Its NOT the AI, this has been a gamebreaking thing for MANY people well before the CU.

This is THE most aggravating gamebreaking bug I have had to deal with in game.

I NEVER go in space anymore due to this. Its the reason MANY people dont even bother with JTL its completely Fd up this part of the game for many people.

Only reason im even on this board right now is to see if its still a known issue and it is, never adressed still. Ships move like bumblebees, cant target anything and resiters hits. Dont even think about questioning my hardware or connection...

about the whole motherboard thing........well, im running a mission for the freelance pilot trainer out of ME and going after the black sun ace. throughout most of the mission, the black sun pilots are behaving normally and not having any bumblebee stuff going on. but with the last two fighters, they are going crazy and i get the last guy down to 2 or 3 shield points and the bumblebee thing gets worse, ultimately causing me to fail the mission because i took too long to complete it.

if the problem were with my motherboard, why wouldnt the problem be consistant? and for those of you who have used this, "fix"; how long have you been flying with no problems.......sometimes i get on and dont run specific missions and have no problems whatsoever. other times i do escort missions and have no problems until the mission is over and i choose to kill some commerce raiders and they go cookoo caca on me. im sure people have submitted bug reports and i am not going to mess with my motherboard until a few hotfixes come out that try to address this. imagine if i screwed it up and the problem wasnt on my end, who pays for my computer when i fry it because of kneejerk advise.

i absolutely love jtl and use it every night to travel and its mostly playable, just frustrating when your enemy bounces around like that.....and what about the people who say that they have made the change to their motherboards and the problem remains?......i sure i have seen a post about that somewhere.

OK, I can see how on MY connection this might happen. Lag gets pretty bad on dial-up lol. But what about the people playing with 2 MB+ connections, with 256MB graphics card, 1.5 gig of RAM, etc. and still having this problem? How is that caused by lag or anything, thats the only reason the server might have to re-sync with the computer is from lag.

Its really simple, the servers/connections are too slow to keep up. So when you see them jump around like that, it is your computers way of resync'ing with the SWG server. Dont believe me? Go in space and pull your internet connection outta the wall, then back in really quick. If your connection has auto reconnect, you will see every target do the bumblebee thing because your computer is resync'ing or catching up with what was happening in the SWG server. Remeber your not really shooting at something on the SWG server, you are shooting at something on your computer and even if you see all the effects of something being hit, if it's not really happening in the SWG world it wont damage it. Hope it makes sense to someone cuz its really not all that difficult to comprehend.

I have noticed that if I peel off and go on to another target I tend to not have an issue with the next target. However, lately it has gotten worse. I am running just the plain duty missions for escort and finding I have no way of taking out these ships. It really gets frustrating when the ship I am escorting heads into space where there are tier II level ships ( I just started the JTL thing). I have no way of taking on some oof these other ships as they slowly piece me apart instead of go after the escort vehicle.
