Yeah, this is rather annoying. I wouldn't mind it if only things attacking me always showed up in a box, but unless I want everything in sight to be boxed, it's rather annoying to have to deal with all the visual clutter.

A toggle under the UI options would definately be nice, so it's good to see that's been brought up. My guess is that if we see any implementation it will come in a week or two when the devs get back from vacation.

I have to say that I am finding these increasingly useful as it points out the targets i need to worry about being attacked by and those that are harmless. Plus it does help with finding things

i have to agree with ya on that during missions and such but sometimes i still would like to turn it off.

lol

Did luke use the blue box's to hit the exhaust port on the death star no he used the force. Blue box's are a cheap mans force.

Boxes that distract me from mission targets.

Boxes that cause graphics lag when there are many NPCs about.

Boxes that ruin my immersion

Boxes that make it harder for me to pick out details like top/bottom or what sort of TIE is that, without having to target and glance up ath the corner box.

Do I hate the boxes? yes, I think I do.

Well Pretend, the boxes are from your Ship Computer projeted to the inside of your Helmet-Visor, as a kind of HUD.

i think they're good and mak space more animated, plus you can tell if a enemy player is overt so much easier than always spamming z button

Why do that when it'd take them all of 5 seconds to add a toggle string in the UI?

I think they should be able to be turned off. They lag the crap out of me sometimes. Especially in Deep Space.

I like the boxs myself, it would always piss me off before when I couldn't see the fighters or even the craft I was targeting if it was out of range.

It would be nice to be able to turn them on and off though, we can change so many other rediculously unhelpful graphics options that ot would be nice
