It was manufactured by Kuat Systems Engineering. It was one of 6 original Prototypes and was originally aquired by Jango Fett while on a Hunt. The other 5 prototypes were destroyed in the escape from the hanger area.
It’s a modified Firespray patrol and attack ship. It was originally designed for planetary law-enforcement (cant recall what system)

Very good.... It was originally designed for the Penal Colony on Oovo IV, which appeared in the Star Wars Bounty Hunter Game and the N64 Podracer Game....

The "old" story of Boba Fett was that he was a Journeyman named Jaster Mareel (sp?) and was a planetary constable, who committed some crime (I assume killing a suspect) and was banished from his planet to later take on the persona Boba Fett.
Then, Episode II comes out, and suddenly Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett.... The die hards will tell you that young Boba Fett, feeling bewildered by his father's death sunk from public view and created the identity Jaster Mareel, became a Journeyman, was banished, etc and then resumed his correct identity as Boba Fett.
I just find it funny that there are 2 obviously different story lines for this character in 2 Lucas sanctioned publications. Anyone else pick that up?
