The schematic parts drop as disks and are named/numbered (the only one I've found so far is listed 2/8). So when you do the RE, you get the RE'ed item plus possibly a disk. Even level 1 items can drop disks, so RE everything you can get your hands on. I got mine from doing an RE on a level 1 booster.
I believe the schematic is limited to 5 uses. Someone who has actually created a schematic can correct me if I'm wrong.

That's an excellent question, I don't know. I was a master before I found my first one, but I hadn't been doing a whole lot of reverse engineering before that.

Thanks, I teamed up with PHO-TEK and combined disks to get the schem made. He had the homor of doing the crafting, I got the first chassis.

Any novice SW can get a disk...you just have to RE till your head explodes. Took us 2200ish parts to get all 8. The first Firespray auction ends in about 7 hours on Wanderhome. It's currently at 16mil. I'm hoping that in the last hour there is some activity. Far as I can tell this is THEE first one out on the open auction block.

That sucks man I am from kauri as well also a near master shipwright, yet to find any disks, yet that does blow that people complained about the prices. Its not like we were not paying Millions upon Millions for krayt pearls back in the day. People make me laugh they think everything should be FREE!

Okay ive been RE so much that my head and eyes hurts, and i havent been able too get one single fragment. When u RE and u get the disk or fragment does it appear befor or after u name the new RE component? I meando uhavetoo rename the component too get the fragment or something or will it just show after u picked the analyze component on the menu?

Once you RE the part, the box will appear with the new stats, at that point you "may" get a message on the screen that says something to the effect that an item was found inside the part. That is your disk. I didn't name many of my items, infact I deleted many of my level ones that people were giving to me for free.

yeah...it pops out when the new part pops out. Its just dumb luck. I got my first disk after the 10th or so part. Then got another one 20 or so later...since then, BUPKISS!!
