75% damage reduction... it already takes a good pair of pilots 5 minutes or more to kill each other (supremus on my server had a 15 minute fight once, his arm was sore afterward lol) and thats witht he current insta-gib system. if you had to hit someone 4 times to kill them, well we would be fighting for hours, and wouldnt even have time to discuss this 
and besides.. only the heros in star wars ever managed to live through more than one shot... rofl

I can see it now, Lucas' reworking of Episode IV to fit in with JTL with 75% pvp damage reduction...

I've had a 15 minute fight once too. It wasn't because of skill, for better or worse. It was because of that HUGE LAG MONSTER, the ISD. Fix the lag FTLOG!!!!!!!
Other requests:
-PYR subcomponent for crafted engines
-Shield overload for rebs
-4 gun mounts per turret on POB ships
-Bounty Flags/ guild war flags transfered to space
-heavily buffed upper level shields to increase effectiveness of bombers against capital ships
-loot with levels consistent to the ship it dropped from (T4 ships drop loot ranging 7-9)
-I wanna loot the ISD's capacitor: 1000000 engergy w/ 6000 recharge
-Better loot from the ISD
-De-bork the rebel station in deep space
-Naval ranks instead of ground rank
-de-spawn for the grahg gunboats in Kashyyk space after the Vak/X mission
-de-nerf the loot drops to high levels, equally buff the crafted components
-Let shipwrights craft L8 components besides ordnance. T4 doesn't get any new crafted junk
-un-fix the early droid interface bug. I want mass 100 DIs with 9 speed.
-oh yeah, fix ISD lag.
-please fix ISD lag.
-shipwright CAs drop in space instead of ground
-stat buffs for pre-ROTW ship
-JTL faction perks

-4 gun mounts per turret on POB ships if i understand correctly, that would make 8 guns on a POB ship. too many.
-Bounty Flags/ guild war flags transfered to space with insta-gib (im not sayin i disagree with the damage system) it would be a ship outta nowhere and insta-death for a jedi wondering w-t-f happened. there isnt a chance. if this was to be put in, i would suggest a warning system when the BH gets w/in 1.5k of the jedi.

-de-nerf the loot drops to high levels, equally buff the crafted components crafted components are quite good atm, and it takes some really good RE components to out-match them. and loot drops are still quite good, you just have to loot alot to find the righ stuff.

Add laser convergance for the ships with wing tiped blasters which is most of the neutral and rebel ships. Real parts for the POB ships not starfighter parts; 2 or 3 hits and you are dead. In deepspace give more protection on hyperpoints, this should stop the hyper in respawn at dantooine or dathomir.
