I wonder if designers of JTL have ever played `freelancer` or `freespace` space simulation games. If they haven't ,then i suggest them to go and play those games,because they got much to learn in making of space simulation. *It becomes extermely boring once you hit master. Nothing to do.
*Nearly no interests at space so called POI's.Nearly empty or nothing special.

Very basic type missions,which gives you no thrill. A mission is not something destroying the biggest ship,and boosting the power of ships you have to destroy not makes the mission interesting,instead a hard boring mission.
*Space looks so empty. Not enough ship spawns. And it looks so boring. Look to the planet orbits at `freelancer` and then `JTL`, you will see the difference.Well, actually you can't see anything in JTL at all, lol.
*There is space stations,capital ships and such which you cannot interact,dock ,not even target them.
*In short words, JTL couldnt pass its class. It is a basic space shoot em up, with good graphics.
Now lets look to `freelancer`. You must see its amazing systems,where lots of ship travel,fight and such. They put even docking lines to planets. Radio talks r also amazing. You can dock to any station that you r not hostile and go to bar,shop,ship dealers there. There are lots of capital ships also. Every where crawling with ships. It's POI'sare thrilling, you can never know when you will be attacked,or where you can find ship wreckages to salvage. I can't desribe it in words but that game got the atmosphere, nearly best. And `freespace 1&2`, man...that game got the greatest epic space saga. It's missions,ships,ship components,designs are more then amazing,it is astounishing,excellent! It's briefings, fighter squadron's , enemies,they all got style!
Now you make a space simulation in Star Wars universe and it got no spirit at all! All that time and effort to create this game is totally wasted! Look to coruscant orbit! Haven't you watch Star Wars Movies! And we cannot even see the star destroyers,proud of the empire ,except deep space! So all other planets are vulnarable to rebels!! The atmosphere of the game is bad,actually there is no atmosphere! Look to the weapon designs! Nearly same type of weapons, onedeals shields much more dmg,while other to armor. Missile types r also not good! There is lots of weapon types you can put to this game; salvo missiles, locking swarm missiles, seeker missiles, torpedos for capital ships and such! While a bomber can load torpedos,a fighter couldnot! But there is no such difference in JTL! Also space guns look near same! Let some drains huge energy but deal more damage,some deals ONLY shield dmg ,or armor dmg. Some fires repeatibly but lesser dmg,other fires slower but for larger dmg.
I suggest developers to go and play `freelancer`,`freespace 1&2` games,and then make a new big patch for JTL! So maybe you can really make `over one hundred story-driven,thrilling space missions!` as the trailer said.
uuuuh.. who cares right now? lets worry about that crap after the devs fix the ground game
we wanted JTL, we got it, be happy with what you have, what do you think the devs are, machines?
