I say allow more of a customization of ships for players. Sure we can change a few componants and the engines change or weapons look different..but that gets boring after a while since there arent too many engines that look different when equiped.
Allow us to buy upgrade kits so we may add more turret ports be they AI controlled or Player controlled. Larger space (like adding rooms for the Nova or expanding hallways..its hard to move in those things) Allow us to do a full revamp if we wanted. Different pilot seats, Different control panels, the ability to add floors say for another 300k at a ship dealer. Make it so we could make our ships bigger, badder, and cooler so to speak. I just get tired of the same old exterior look. Painting? its ok..sure...a bunch of different colors..but no one wants to fly around in a neon green/pink ship for a while until they get around to changing it to Gold and orange. just enhance customization..thatd fix most problems..no one would be flying around in the same looking model with different colors and a slightly different engine/weapon mount.
